Yeah he wasn’t just a guy that dominated low competition. He was an animal in AAU but he was always the best athlete on the court. Without his driving he’s much easier to guard. But when he gets downhill in the lane he was hell on wheels, just ask Walker
For the guy asking where the Keon rumors are coming from, they’re from a guy on On3 that comes off as an insider. Personally I think he’s just a guy trying to get some e-cred. This is a pretty bold move to go out on this limb though

quote:Meh, he hasn’t played well so it’s a push for me. Losing him AND JQ is bad, though.
Rumor has it Davison is gonna test the NBA waters. Nate Oats doesn’t expect him back at Alabama. Is that an addition or subtraction for bammer?

Just curious, who was the highest rated AU recruit in the pre-Bruce era?
Posted on 3/31/22 at 9:46 pm to TTsTowel
Yeah no thanks at all for Davison but Keon Ellis would be a yes for sure for me

My bad didn’t see the “pre”

Yes Vot but Frank Ford and Chuck Person would
Have been rated higher if recruiting services were around back then. Barkley would have been an afterthought recruiting wise on that team. Chris Morris would have been rated higher. Doc Robinson would have been a big time recruit out of high school as well.

What a massive commitment. Next year should be fun if we can land another big name. Really need a shooter. What’re the odds we get the other LSU 5 star that decomitted?

Go get him Bruce!
Kansas State guard Nijel Pack entered the transfer portal Thursday, becoming arguably the best available basketball transfer this spring.
Pack, a 6-foot guard from Indianapolis, departs the program two weeks after the school replaced Bruce Weber with longtime Baylor assistant Jerome Tang.
Pack led the Wildcats in scoring, averaging 17.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists -- while shooting 43.6% from 3-point range. He had three outings with at least 30 points, including 35 points and eight 3-pointers in a narrow loss to Kansas in January. He led the Big 12 in 3-pointers per game and 3-point percentage, ranking in the top 15 nationally in both categories.

Sounds like a 2.
If Auburn adds/subtracts the following, I’ll be happy.
2
Two 3’s
Returns Walker Kessler
Allen Flanigan transfers
Returns Jaylin Williams

I already am happy lol. I like the 3's we are looking at. The KSU guy would be ideal but is there any connection there at all?

It's funny scrolling through that top 25. The ratio of Bruce guys boggle the mind.

Yep it's crazy but not unexpected knowing our history and watching Bruce.
Guy is electric, hardworking, and genuinely looks like he's having fun. I'd want to play for him.
Love the trajectory of the Bball program.

Dude was terrible this year.
I only watched 8-10 Bama games this year but the ones I watched Davison's poor play stood out. He wasn't that bad on offense but defensively he looked lost a lot of the time.

Mike Jones is a name I have not heard in a very long time. I knew Oak Hill was the shite then but had no idea the talent that is still coming out of there. IIRC Mike Jones went to Central Phenix City then transferred to Oak Hill. I remember him going off on Auburn High every fricking game but then again he went off on everybody. Anyone remember what happened with him? Seems like he got involved with some bad things and people, maybe back home and flamed out. Hope not.
Oak Hill NBA Draftees
ETA - I could definitely be wrong, but I swear and would bet 100$ he wore #32 at Central. That was 35 years ago and I have not really thought about him since. Crazy / scary how the brain works sometimes.
