@JHokanson Milton (Ga.) 5-star #Auburn commit Carl Lawson staying home this weekend. AU will be his next and last visit on Feb. 1. LINK

You scared me for a second. I was thinking his visit was this weekend. I think we got this in the bag now.

One less team to worry about.

Not really.

It's pretty much UT,CU & AU and he has aleady visited them recently on OV's.

Personally, I think it would have been better for him to take the UNC visit. Why? Because even had he taken it, it would be very unlikely that he would end up signing with UNC. The positive that would have occurred for us had he taken the visit to UNC is that it would have taken Tennessee out of his mind, at least for a bit in the short-run...and then he'd be on his Auburn visit next week. Now he's got another week to ponder on his visit to Tennessee which is fresh on his mind, and by all accounts it was a very good visit. By all accounts he has had a lot of people in his ear going on about Tennessee; taking a visit to UNC would have gotten him away from that for a bit and as I said, taken him mind off Tennessee.

Had he taken the UNC visit, he would've been less likely to take the Auburn visit, IMO... remember, he wasn't planning on taking an OV to auburn in the first place.

Must sign Lawson, Foster...

We HAVE to start hitting on the elite defensive guys we have missed on the past few years (for the most part).

We sign Foster and Lawson, I am happy with this class regardless of where some of the others we may or may not get end up.

We miss on both, I am PTFO for real.

Apparently his grades aren't looking too good and is unlikely to qualify wherever he goes.

Pretty much all of this. I think Clemson is out and it's between us and UT with it coming down to Garner being able to close the deal.

Foster's signing day is Feb 2 and Lawson will sign after his Feb 1 visit and before NSD. If we miss on both of them, there's really no point to tune in on signing day because they're our only realistic top prospects left

From that list it looks like he'll go where he qualifies. He'd probably be happier in the long term going JuCo so that he can enroll at a school he actuallly wants to attend

Auburn just called and offered... #mindblown #gettingHARD

This kid from Alabama, committed to UAB getting some big offers recently. Got a Clemson offer the other day, not sure if he could commit or not but it got him hard apparently.

Posted about him in the sleeper thread on the SECrb. I helped coach at SHS the past two years. TJ is a physical specimen. I like him as a WR a lot more than as a S. If it's a commitable offer then he will sign with Auburn. Auburn is the offer he's been waiting for.

JHoke said in the War Room that we have cooled on Zach Cunningham and he appears to be going somewhere not AU
