A roster that just beat the absolute hell out of Arkansas up there is not as bad as what we saw today. I’m not going to blame Freeze for the roster but today was more than that. No one looked like they cared at all, nor were they prepared to play.

This is when stuff like doing baptisms on campus will backfire. No one will care a rats’ arse when you are winning, but the pitchforks will now come out. I agree with some of the guys here that this is a historic loss - 21 point favorites losing by 21 points. This can be a program defining loss, for better or worse. I will still support the team as always, but the players need to take up some ownership for this debacle and man the frick up and give Bama a fight.

Absolutely not 100%. Get the frick out of here. We did what we did this year and there is no effin reason we should lose that game. Quit making excuses for Brother Hugh. He makes millions. Put the pressure on him and quit being a cuck homer.

I understand people being upset just realize this team we lost to wasn’t an FCS team. It was/is a bad loss. My thing is don’t let this game throw off all momentum we have. We sucked bad today and have zero wins that matter this season.

We have the opportunity to sign of if not the greatest WR class in Auburn history. We need WRs. It would open up the entire offense. However everyone played bad. I bet the ball boy played like shite as well. It was that kind of day.

It isn’t a sunshine pump it’s a reality check. We are still a bad team. Proven on the field today.

This is what transfer portal and NIL gets you. This team quit and this was the worst defeat in Auburn history. No raise for Hugh and if anything he owes Auburn money back. I thought the Cal game was bad but this was the worst. I thought the Chizik downfall was bad but I’ve never seen an Auburn team just give up like this one did. No heart !

From the looks of tonight we also need an offensive line. It's hard to throw a pass looking at the sky from your back. They were as bad tonight as I've seen the past two years. Got blown up all night long

How?

We sound ridiculous…. We are like old UGA thought they were shite and wasn’t shite. I would say we sound like bammer fans but they have the trophies we don’t. If all we care about is wins and wins only when it comes to athletes then why the whining and shite about those poor athletes working hard blah blah blah. I want the best for all the players in games and hope we win every game but if one soul was saved eternally then that’s a much great win then any game on a field.

Vanderbilt would have won that game.

frick me man, this shite is inexcusable. if we won by one, i would have said "at least it's a win".

i saw someone say: "oh, fsu lost to jax state". fsu lost by 3. we lost by 21.

no words to describe what i witnessed

Is that NMSU roster more talented than Auburn’s? No… no it is not.

I don't know how bad our roster is to a point where I can compare to New Mexico State, but I do know our roster is bad enough that we are borrowing from Texas State to form a roster. Our recruit rankings is tantalizing but deceptive. We think we have a talented roster, but our best player could be a 3star RB. We have lost whole recruiting classes. Someone else tried to say we were more talented than Ole Miss. I am not buying this whole talent thing that we supposedly have.

The other teams were very well coached and a very cohesive unit. They were a buzzsaw. Like I said before, when you are bringing in 40 players you have no clue what you got (bunch good, bunch bad, bunch of mixed temperaments) until the season starts and that could mean rolling with a lot of dead weight or bad players. So we dont have that cohesion. As Auburn fans we are not used to watching our team slide in bounds to keep the clock rolling (Tank). I would like to have the coaching advantage too. But we don't, so for the time being, yes, we are that bad and I will tell anybody that shite talks Auburn. I am not embarrassed. We just flat suck and I hope we get better. I don't think we sucked completely because Freeze blew off the game. Our student section sucked. Our effort sucked. We probably sucked for reasons that Freeze is also trying to address via recruiting. It was a great cluster, but it was just one game, and I will happily forget about it.

Yes, the most devastating and embarrassing loss in Auburn history.

First thing that came to my mind was if this was worse than losing to Moo State after a *28-3 lead.

I honestly don't know, but even though we dominated lesser SEC opponents, they were still SEC opponents.

And then to be face planted in the turf, at home, by freaking NMSU??

I got words I'm not going to type.

* Which also happened at about the same time of the season, mid November. WTH is up with that? We are so far beyond Amen Corner and days of yore.

It’s happened all across college football after you think you’re out of it the players quit. Our players quit today.

Now that the student section blew off this game, I hope this means we can scrap the video board being built for the students and donate it to NIL.

I'm a Christian.

If I'm being paid near $7M per year to win football games, I'll keep my church focus on Sunday mornings and prioritize football Monday through Saturday and Sunday afternoons and evenings though. If Hugh would prefer to save souls rather than win Auburn football games, then he can take a lower salary.
