Almost lost and lost are not the same. Not even close.

I’ve been going to games since the 70s today wasn’t the worst I’ve ever felt after a game.

We have never been blown out at home by a C-USA team. At JHS or anywhere. We are in uncharted waters here.

Bringing up the loss to UCF as being comparable is totally delusional. There is no comparison to this game. UCF was 13-0 and playing (in their minds) for a mythical national championship and only beat us by a TD.

I'm looking at the bright side. Kids know they can come here and start. We have $$. We have shown potential just not consistency. Brother hugh can talk up anyone given the chance.

As long as we dontget embarassed again in the bowl we will be fine.

CFB is completely different with the playoff expansion coming. Our S&C is the best it's been in a decade as far as no injuries.

Baby steps.

What?

They were clearly better. Our roster is that bad while we have a cohesion level only above a loose group of individuals in the checkout line at Walmart. What were we predicted to win this year? 5.5 games?
Meanwhile, that team played well the whole game. They had two different touchdowns that were challenge worthy because they were toe drags, and one occurred on 4th down.

Ok yes we may not have ever lost to a CUSA team. Don’t know if that is true or not.

We played like shite. I’m talking perspective. It’s a complete rebuild nothing has changed since the first kick off of the season. Still complete rebuild.

jang just likes to place himself high upon a throne looking down on all us lesser Auburn species, don’t worry about it.

Google is your friend. Look up Auburn's 1990 and 1991 schedule and results. Losses both years to C-USA member S Miss.

Corch, I mean this with the upmost respect, but take that shite somewhere else. This was a historic loss. Not just one fricking game. Give me a break. Quit pumping the sunshine. Pressure should be applied from those in a position to apply it.

Our roster is very bad. Why do you think Auburn was only predicted to win 5 or 6?

Our roster is the culmination of attrition from the almost losts.

Bo Nix says hi.

Yeah I know how we got there. Doesn’t change the fact that it was embarrassing. We were 26 point favorites and got absolutely murdered at home.

Dont put that on me bro. I dont want to have to rip my clothes, pour ashes on myself and start violently and uncontrollably weeping (like Lanier)

Was NMSU “clearly better” tonight?

Damn right they were.

Is that NMSU roster more talented than Auburn’s? No… no it is not.

If you believe that, my Auburn brother, then we are traveling on two roads that will never cross. A dead corpse Auburn program (which frankly we were under the Tater Boyz) *still* recruits better than an NMSU program recruits in their wettest of dreams.

Its 100% on potato head. Ridiculous hearing folks beat up on Freeze for a lousy roster.

It is what it is. And it is in the history books. We will not easily wash this stain.
