But unless you are forking over meaningful bucks to program, you have no right to be incensed.
The landscape has changed.
The sport will be the haves and the have nots.
In the current scenario, we are 'have nots'. We cannot match the top schools dollar for dollar in procuring top coaches, and now with NIL and the portal, top players and a solid roster.
In short, either start forking over big bucks or get used to being lower tier.
Money talks, bullshite walks.
Now, it's all about the money.

It most certainly won't be with a HC in position of leadership who was an OL coach for 40 years and OL is the worst position group on the team.

People with money aren't looking to part ways with money for someone running the program fitting that criteria.

I swear to god, if the big money donors really are die-hard Gus Bussers and are holding NIL because of that, then just f the program.

No offense, but piss off

We are top 20 in the entire collegiate athletic universe in money.

We just refuse to pay what the market demands.

It's 90% having a coach that exudes confidence and bleeds it over into his team, as well as having a guy that gets his players up to play and has excitement surrounding him. It's less about the recruiting stars than ever.

Look at OM right now. No reason they should be having the success they are (yes they just got blown out by UGA, but we'd kill for the season they're having), vs. Texas A&M with their top recruiting classes. It's all about the coaches and attitudes surrounding their programs.

Auburn should've been a win for us on paper, but their team had a confidence that ours completely lacked today. That's coaching.

It'll be a tall task but we HAVE to go out and get a young, exciting, hungry coach that inspires his players with confidence. We have to generate excitement to recruit and keep our decent players from entering the portal or we're toast. It's not impossible here and can be done with the right hire.

I just wish we would've hired Norvell or Kiffin when we had the chance. Hunter has a big task ahead of him and his job hangs in the balance.

We can talk about here for hours about Arkansas can't do this or that but no here is really asking a lot from the program.

Arkansas roughly recruits in the 25-30 range here regardless of coach.

But the coaching doesn't match with the recruiting and falls at the Sunbelt level.

If you can't go bowling here year after year then that is a coaching problem.

Because of football? We’re going to get paid conference money regardless of football results, look at some other teams, but we can’t afford patience?

I’m as disappointed in this season as anyone but Sam has made moves to try to stop the bleeding which tells me he cares. Plus he has good players coming in.

But if they pull a chad and lose to FIU I’m on board with letting him go immediately.

“Money talks, bullshite walks” is the actual slogan of a porn site.

Strong moves, hell the resident freshmen were spared having to deal with watching this shite show or learning and instead got to get jazzed up for Christmas with polar Express at halftime.

I’ve been following this circus for 60 years and when we moved to the SEC it was obvious we’d take a serious hit in football. We’d be playing bowl games most every week as opposed to once a year. We’ve done well occasionally but to expect this program to not have bad years is delusional. We don’t reload as evidenced by our Oline this year. Or defense last year.

Welcome to reality and if you’re letting it ruin your life that’s your fault.

this is a load of horse shite. No one is wanting to fire Pittman because he loses to the top teams in the sec. But losing to the likes of Liberty, Mississippi state this year and byu is unacceptable. Those teams are not more talented than us. Auburn was not more talented than us. We just lost a game by 38 that we were favored to win at home, not by alabama. Not reloading every single season is fine, but Only winning 4 games in a season should never happen.

I don’t know about everyone else but I don’t have extra money to throw at the program. Been to the grocery store lately? Priced vehicles? Houses? Yeah it’s brutal.

So unless there are a sufficient number of big money donors willing to pony up I doubt we ever get to the point where we are able to compete with the big dogs in terms of money.

We can't even consistently win 7 damn games a year.

Compete with the big dogs my arse.
