IMO no

I know people get tired of hearing it and it seems like the state talent in football is improving but basketball and baseball are still so far ahead

NIL now in full swing, if players are good they will leave for more lucrative deals.

Who the hell cares about Foucha's name, image or likeness? 95% of Arkansas fans couldn't say his name right with a gun to their head. Why on earth would we need to pay him to stay on the team??

nobody but all it takes is a coach reaching out to some booster and saying we need this guy and the booster won’t even know who he is but he’ll give him the money he wants. You think anybody knows the names of all those high school guys Texas and Aggie are buying

Rich people don't get rich by throwing money away. They generally look for a return on investment

People on 247 saying it might be more than just Foucha from the DB room

Apparently they don't like Sam Carter

Sam Carter is not Foucha’s position coach…

To not lose out on the dividends from all the coaching and time we've invested in him.

Attrition and depth are an issue and we're now gonna lose some of it

Lol, like that applies to the Waltons. They got rich because daddy built the biggest company in the world (by revenue anyway)

College sports are fricked at this point

At least pro sports has fines for blatant tampering.

Going to be fun to see all the people looking for ROI from A&M when they go 8-4 again next year. NIL is prolly gonna burn college football to the ground. I need to find my fiddle and a roof.

Just making Fayetteville, Austin…

If you can put money into that, it means you are taxing too much.

Telling me Tyson couldn’t give the linemen money and say look at what our meat did?

Would make a more realistic ad than Pepsi curing racism.

Biddy and West are over on 247 basically scolding people for not giving NIL deals to players, saying that everyone is just waiting for someone else to make a move and no one has done anything.

Meanwhile, TexasAgs, a direct equivalent of their site, is literally paying players directly to do exclusive interviews and weekly podcast spots and ads.

Can't make this shite up. It's so Arkansas it hurts.

I think in about 5 years it will even out and do exactly what it did in the 70s/80s… and stars will make all the money, pure game changers. Hundred dollar handshakes and things like that. But paying an unproven mid ranked recruit won’t happen.
