Who’s nervous about losing players to the portal?? I’m hearing Treylon Smith has decided to transfer. Any others?

If hornsby is on the roster in the fall, the staff did an amazing job keeping him. I would think there are many coaches that need a starting QB and would love to "reach out" to him.

Add AJ Green to the watchlist in addition to the ones already mentioned.

Let's face it...we are gonna need to make a few more spots available...let's just hope it isn't players of this caliber.

Why would we be nervous of losing marginal players like TS with the depth especially at his position next year.

The 4 and 5 year seniors who have been in college and getting passed by younger players, it isn't a shock to have them move on a open a scholarship.

Green needs to make the routine play and not drop/fumble.

That will get him more playing time.

Yeah I’m not a fan of a 4 RB rotation personally so I’m fine with the oldest leaving. We’ll be loaded with just Dom and Rocket. AJ coming around and being consistent would just be an embarrassment of riches.

Yup. This staff has shown to be aggressive in upgrading the roster via the portal.

Was Smith even at the game? He’s a senior so I’m not sure if he’s got any more stops left in him.

RB room is packed to the gills so I’d suspect some space will free up there.

Sanders and Johnson are 1A 1B starting today so everybody else is just trying for 3rd.

Smith played at the beginning of the second half.

Send Rocket to ballet/dance class this off-season so he quits running like a baby deer and he'll be a star.

Johnson can be the short yardage guy.

Wish Busta would have come back for his super senior year but when you’re a first team all SEC and lead the nation in interceptions it’s hard to pass up that money potential.

I don’t blame treylon for transferring out. Johnson, Rocket & Green started getting more carriers. I would like to keep Green too. I think he will be really good. But he may look elsewhere to get more carriers unfortunately.

Green could be an amazing 3rd down back if he just makes the easy plays.

I assumed trelon would not be asked to return. Remember next year the super seniors count against your 85 so anybody who comes back has to be somebody you really want back

This x1000. I’m afraid that giving him the cleanup time he got today just served to open up eyes to his talent from other coaches. I will be shocked if he’s here next year which makes me sick to think about.

Looking at this situation honestly, Hornsby will transfer either this year or next. I don’t see KJ leaving early for the NFL and if he doesnt, Hornsby is sitting behind him again in 2023.

I could see this playing out but I’d be surprised if KJ didn’t leave for the draft early. He’s been very efficient this year and can run the ball well. Can imagine there won’t be some NFL teams calling if he has another year like he did this year

KJ is a good QB for Arkansas, but he has a shite ton to work on prior to thinking he is NFL ready. One issue is getting his weight under control. The other is now proving you can pass efficiently without Megatron to bail out some throws.

Not saying KJ sucks at all, but thinking he will be ready for the league a year from now is a bit of a stretch IMO. He is much closer to being a RS-SR here than he is being an NFL top 5 round pick next year.

A lot of this. KJ had the best safety valve in the country this year. He has to get better at reading his progressions if he wants to go to the league.

For all the reading progressions talk our fans like to point out about KJ, if Burks was a WR for any of you playing QB you would look his way first every time too.

That is what Mike Woods didn't understand.
