Good. First 9 win season in a decade and back to back bowl wins. Had this thing rolling until the yo-yos in the fanbase called for his coordinators heads and ran them off.

He was committed to Colorado. Nothing to do with Arkansas.

7-6 losing at home to Liberty was “rolling”.

Lmao.

Briles leaving was 100% on Pittman and a reflection of his abysmal leadership.

90% of the posters here were glad when Briars left. He was “holding us back with terrible play calls” remember?

And the expectation was he would run out and hire Enos by everyone at that time.

And the expectation when we fired Bert was to get Chaggie. And when we fired Chaggie to get Sam.

See the pattern?

Win the winnable games that he is getting paid to do and we wouldn't have any worries.

Honestly, would anyone be calling for Sam's firing or retirement right now if we had beaten BYU and Mississippi State? Maybe even Auburn?

We *should* easily have 2 more wins right now and be sitting at 6-5, 7-4 if you want to include the Auburn game which was winnable on paper considering the total rebuild there and them losing to New Mexico State by 21.

This is my biggest problem with Sam and this season. There was at the bare minimum 3 more wins on the schedule if the team just played up to their potential instead of completely uninspired, unmotivated, flat football. One would think that IF Sam had the answers to this team playing flat and unmotivated, he would've corrected it after BYU - or at least Mississippi State.

We're about to get our doors blown off at home yet again, this time by Missouri. What is Hunter's reasoning behind seeing a likely change in culture next year? What is his reasoning for believing that Pittman can rally the troops to make a turnaround? I just haven't seen it, and it's year 4 so it's not like a new coach that just has to get his players to buy in.

I'm perplexed by the whole situation.

Yes.

The fall back last year was understandable given the devastating amount of injuries on the defensive side.

They have had injuries in this side of the ball this year and honestly have had one bad game (Auburn) and countless shite situations given to them by the offense.

Yes the offense has had injuries this year, but outside of Hasz the players on the players buried on the depth chart have been more productive.

If Sam is changing coordinators based on what the fan base is clamoring about, I have a whole new reason to want him fired.

Love the changing narrative. Everyone said Sam got tired of having to fight off other schools for Briles and thought he could do just as well with Enos.

Now it’s poor Sam wanted to keep him but was intimidated by the crazy fanbase

bowl wins.

the games where half the team is opted out and there’s nothing on the line?

Still hasn’t beaten a single quality opponent in 4 seasons

I do and I still think his play calling is super mediocre at times.

But we didn't want briles fired, hell most were ok if he was retained. Most just thought we broke even at best. Briles was leaving due to Sam, his Texas buddies, and our boosters

So that somehow dictated him leaving? He made his choices multiple times taking interviews and Pittman/HY chose not to retain him.

99% of the fans want Pittman shite canned and they're obviously not doing that.

Literally zero people wanted him to hire Enos.

The new narrative is this is somehow the fans doing?

Every day I'm more and more ashamed of being part of this alumni and fan base.
