Got him for the same price as Anderson. I was Marshall> Musselman but I won't deny that you get a ton more value from this deal. Marshall would have been around 5M a year. Good job Hunter

So we get a better coach for virtually the same Money?

I'm fine with that.

Man, I'll tell you the same thing everyone told me in the Van Horn thread. I don't think you know a damn thing about basketball and should just shut the frick up and stick to football.

I've been saying all week long this should be our guy and many others have as well. He is nowhere near the 4th or 5th best option. I would have chosen him over Marshall on the spot where it me. The only better option was a Chris Beard or a proven NBA coach. Like a Billy Donovan.

This guy is a superstar.

This was realistically the best hire we were going to make outside of Beard and that became less likely day by day.

I'm 100% behind Coach Musselman. Just ready to get our Program back to being relative and consistent.

Welcome Aboard Coach Musselman.

I didn't know much about him,but having read his resume and seeing what former players and coaches have to say about him I'm very optimistic about this hire.

A coach, teacher, motivator and winner. This guy seems to check all the boxes.

I believe we'll see improvement from day one.And with his NBA experience our recruiting should be better.

Heck, even Calipari had good things to say about him in a past interview.

We are on the right track...Go Hogs!!!!!

Enthusiastic about basketball again, which hasn't happened in a while.

Not me, I was pretty sure from the day Anderson was let go it would be Musselman. I was emphatic that it wouldn't be Beard. Marshall, that guy will never leave WS.

Sampson probably would have at least been interviewed if it weren't for the CIW BS. But it was there so that left Musselman.

Anyone that didn't try to think too deep could see it coming a mile away.

It's a good hire.

I really like this guy. He's a coaching guru. His teams are gonna get out and run the floor, which is great for our current roster, but he is an ace offensive schematic type of coach. Our current players like Mason Jones and Isaiah Joe (who can score 30 points in a game) are gonna see tremendous boosts in their stat lines and a guy like Ethan Henderson is gonna turn into a great player for us. No doubt in my mind.

If we keep Reggie Chaney this team is gonna be formidable in year 1. Look at what he did year 1 at Nevada. It's fricking incredible. That team went from 9 wins to 24.

We knocked this hire out of the park. Major kudos to Yurachek.
