Dave built Arkansas baseball. Everyone else are posers. Say what you want about jealousy or envy.

Dave has won a lot of Arkansas baseball games but there were successful coaches before him

Norm built the program. Dave came in and gradually turned it into a power.

Both of them finished runner-up in the CWS. Right now, neither is better than the other.

so in your mind do you believe gene chizik or Larry Coker or Ed O is a better football coach than pat fitzgerald? Or Bobby petrino? Or mike leach? Or art briles? Or Gary Patterson? Or Dave Shaw? Or Chris Peterson?or Dave cutcliffe I could go on and on and on and that’s just football. A championship is not the end all be all. It’s definitely the most impressive and important achievement in any sport but you can’t base everything off that. There are other variables and factors to account for.

Shh only dvh could possibly be successful here let's let our football and basketball trauma frick up the baseball team too. Some people man.

The double standard is amusing, the ones who want to discount Norm are the same ones who always feel it necessary to mention Sutton and dirt floors in barnhill when talking about basketball and Petrino in football.

They just love the coaches who never win NCs.

Don't play kopps on the 9th and start him today. That's crazy coaching decision if I've ever heard one

Absolutely. Kopps' first start and has thrown a career high amount of pitches today. Giving interviews about it down a run in the 3rd or 4th inning. Lazy fricking coaching. Arky is gonna arky I suppose.

To be fair, I figure he's contractual obligated to give those interviews from the dugout. It's still bad juju, though, and I wouldn't want any part of it.

To be fair, I've never said a cross word about the dude looking at what he's done for arky baseball, but shite. Today was ridiculous.

DVH deviated from what has worked all year and it bit him in the arse. Should have stuck with the same ideal that won us every series this year against far better competition.

Today I’m reminded of why I decided to quit getting excited about the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Bolden not being available makes that a little hard to do when he was normally a big part of the Sunday plans. NC State would have lit Wiggins up like a Christmas tree.

Where he fricked up was pulling Lockhart early yesterday. if that was a regular season conference game he would have let Lockhart pitch through that inning. That’s where he went against what he has done all year and it cost us the game.

Agree with this. The series was lost in game 2 and an odd decision to pull Lockhart early. Starting Kopps reeked of desperation and the thing I'm the most disappointed about is Kopps taking an L for that 3rd game.

Why does everyone keep saying this?

We lost by one run both games. Took the lead to start both and the game was tied in the 8th inning with all the momentum on our side.

We completely shite the bed at the plate and got dominated by pretty average pitchers.
