Don't buy into what Dave did or didn't do with pitching.
Sometimes kids miss and they did with the bat. But damn it was only one series. I would give anything to hug em after this. I can only imagine how speechless they are. They're the best Hogs we've ever had.

I don't disagree that the offense was poor outside game 1.
But I think you continue to do the things that made you the #1 seed and it just sends a message to the other team when you change things up that much.

im in this camp also. key pitching injuries late hurt, and several relievers couldnt find the plate late in the season. put pressure on Wick/Kopps. Combine that with bats going cold which happens. and while we had the talent to beat NC State, i think the committee did us no favors in the draw and the Nebraska series took it out of us
