Arkansas was 6-1 last year when KJ had greater than or equal to 40 rushing yards

ETA: 1-1 this year

I think dale was being cheeky. That or he’s trolling again, which he also loves to do on the team board but he usually waits for baseball season for that

Team board trolling is a lost art. Respect.

This board has been a bummer lately I'm excited for basketball/something to be happy about.

No need to get Criswell hurt.

I'd love to see a Bobby Petrino coached Criswell, or KJ.

KJ is limited, he was a project at QB in high school that Ole Miss and State didn't want.

He has made improvements but has hit his ceiling.

Physically he is gifted but his QB IQ is low.

I remember his freshman year on 3rd and 10 he ran out of bounds after gaining 9 years. Right in front of the chains with and not touched by a defender. It was like he’d never play football before.

I think KJ is suffering from a lack of confidence in his OL.

He didn't throw those picks last year because he had confidence in his OL.

This year is completely different. Sure you could say he's staring his WR's down, but for as much abuse he's taken do you blame him for making those mistakes?

He absolutely can be a threat if utilized correctly. The problem is that our running game is an absolute joke so opposing defenses are feasting on us.

I honestly think we need to get him rolling out more often with the threat of him running and passing. We can't hold up long enough for him to be a pocket QB. Let him use his legs and make plays.

They did a decent job protecting yesterday. Dude had a ton of time and still threw severely bad balls. He still lacks touch and accuracy on medium passes. And it seems this offense gives him too many reads or the plays take too long to develop. If he hasn’t thrown it by a 4 count he needs to be running. But I think they’ve coached him to be a pocket passer but he’s just not

Saban benched Hurts in the National Championship.
Two years before NIL got involved and players got price tags attached but go ahead with your false equivalencies. Thank you for proving you don't understand the point at all.

No coach worth a damn gives a shite how much player makes. They are there to win or they get canned.

We see it in the NFL all the time. 1st round picks get replaced fast by performance. Money means nothing.

You're digging a hole with no way out. Sorry

The last time a perceived "good" QB was benched here, chaos and hilarity ensued within the fanbase.

My point is crystal clear. You're out of touch with the dynamics of modern college football and it shows.

So a coach and or boosters are going to say we can't bench a guy because we pay him too much?

You're out of touch with football period

You act like this is unprecedented when there were instances of this in college football even before NIL.

Boosters pay players to win not because they are their "favorite".

If a coach is on the hot seat he is going to play for his job not because of what someone makes. That coach will be unemployed quickly.

Everyone is blaming the offensive line anyway.

I think you're being intentionally obtuse if you can't admit that the player with the most monetary investment wrapped up in his image and likeness would inherently have a longer leash than anyone else.
