If KJ is as bad as some say why hasn't he been benched?

He's a senior and captain.

If they didn't bench him after 9/17 against ATM they aren't ever going to.

Because we’re playing for next year. Except this time, we don’t want to ruin our QBs for next year playing behind this years line.

He's been starting for 4 years. Experience alone should have made him better than what we've got right now.

It's a skill issue.

Physically the best QB with intangible leadership traits gained through experience trying to learn a new system that he fits like a square peg in a round hole

Because Sam is loyal and a good guy. He didn’t fire Odom even after 3 years of shite defense. He let him get a new job and leave.

But if he's playing as poorly as you say the coaches have to make a change right?

If not then thats poor decision making by them and you have to question what they're doing. So which is it?

And that’s why he hired his old buddy as OC

If the other OL guys aren’t good enough to steal time from this years starters, we’re screwed next year.

Then they'd get to deal with the optics of benching the person they chose to make the face of the program. Thanks to all the money involved now it's not that simple anymore. Especially when the player that needs benching has been billed as the golden goose.

But this isn't new for me. I wanted us to go after QBs in the transfer portal as far back as two years ago.

Do you think Saban, Kirby, Kiff, or Jimbo cares about optics?

Saban let a Heisman trophy winner go.

Literally none of those teams are in the same situation we are at QB. We're 4 years into a failed investment that was propped up to be the leader of the team and face of the program. Benching Milroe in his first full year starting is not the same as benching the guy you've been starting for 4 years.

why don’t we just run the shite out of kj then? The catalyst that made this offense go the past 2 years were the threat of the running back and kj taking off and gashing people on the ground, but after not having a serviceable backup last year sam said he wanted kj to take less shots so he doesn’t get hurt. But if his pocket passing is so bad a backup would be better anyway why not just let him run? Couldn’t make us worse

Saban benched Hurts in the National Championship. You are really bad at this

When KJ has more than 40 yards on the ground, Arkansas loses, Everytime.

Coaching and OL skill, maybe. Slow receivers aren’t fricking helping.

Second leading passing QB in program history, right? Forgot to pass as a senior? Can’t throw the ball more than 15 yards?

Short rope for a black QB.
