What makes you think some of the wealthiest donors give a frick about Razorback football enough to dump money into the nil?

Fact is, there's not enough donor money to support 3 programs

Walmart isn't jumping in this game.

From a self-preservation perspective, their jobs are to win or to control the money/fanbase. If they're not doing either then it's bad news for everybody. I'm worried this ship is sinking.

Reading the responses on FB and the grams, we are just happy to be there, just an OC away from big things.

Having a much better Oline and we are at least a 8-9 win team period. Coaching is less than 1/3 of the equation anymore.

Buy the players period... The new wild west of high level NCAA Football!

I disagree

No amount of money on recruits will have Pittman manage a game to put them in a winning situation....

We didn't lose to BYU or miss stat cause they're heads and shoulders above us in talent. Same with Auburn.....

Correct. Pittman can be a great guy and good OL couch and also be mediocre at head coach.

For some reason people can't accept this.

Hes got the worst offensive line in the conference right now and possibly the worst passing and rushing
game to go with it. There's nothing this team is really good at other than field goals.

I think there's a whole lot more going on than we assume.

My conspiracy theory is hes retiring as head coach after the mizzou game but will be retained in some admin capacity to offset the massive buyout.

We are dead last in the sec in rushing.

It takes effort, not talent to run the ball.

To me, it's the timing of the statement that's the weirdest. What if the team completely quits, gives minimal effort, and gets blown out at home against Missouri this weekend?

Why not wait until AFTER that game to release a statement on Sam's future? Something is going on behind the scenes or went on behind the scenes, that we're not privvy to

Fire both him and Pittman then. He wants to go down with the ship so be it.

Yeah. It tracks with this year but makes no business sense. Then again, haven’t seen much of that…

Said it multiple times here that he’d be retained. Someone fed the media bs and they were dumb to run with it.

I'm glad the media did because it got everyone more riled up thinking it was happening. Now everyone is even more pissed.

Letting Arkansas slide back here soon to Chad level is not admirable at all.

We aren’t close to Chad level . One bad OC hire does not equal Chad level nor should it be grounds to be fired. Sets a bad precedent.

If Hunter fired Pittman because of a bad season and because that’s what our mob of fans throwing a temper tantrum wanted it would be a bad look and would be akin to letting the inmates run the asylum. But y’all aren’t ready for that conversation because you’re in the midst of your temper tantrum and aren’t getting your way.

Being this bad in year 4 is grounds for firing pretty much anywhere. This isn't year 2 or 3.

We are far closer to Chad level than any other level stop lying to yourself.

and I disagree with you. A much better talented Oline from the get go this season, and we are not having this discussion.

KJ or Brady wouldn't have time to pass against SEC defenses with this crap of an Oline. Now, i get that it is his job to recruit, portal, and develop. But talent is the largest issue we have.

Ohhh, since he was replying to me and you replied as well. I absolutely agree that he is mediocre as a HC. As was Nutt, but with the right talent, he would still win.

See Dabo... He is a mediocre HC who had great coordinators and exceptional talent in their conference imho!
