I said champs was our ceiling. I don’t think OU and Texas are necessarily automatic losses, we might get a win every 10 years or so.

The sad part is I kind of think the whole Arkansas to Big 12 was an interesting discussion even though I didn't want it.
Problem is, Stone is dug too deep into his position at this point and can't see the inconsistencies.

Long term, we would at least have a chance at success in the Big 12. Never gonna happen in the SEC, and certainly not now. We’re about to get knocked down two more pegs because we’re adding two superior programs.

We dumped the AD that was the cancer of our athletics program, went to the elite 8 for the first time in forever after we dumped the last no effort hire that retard made in one of our big sports. We were #1 in baseball pretty much all year, went undefeated in conference series, won the conference and conference tourney and had the golden spikes winner.
Oh, you said football. We hired a coach that absolutely loves the state, understands our tradition and respects it, brought in two classes that were on par with the ones we got after good years, maybe even a little better than we usually do, even with us having 0 conference wins in the last 20 games. Then he went out and won 3 (really 4) games in a 10 game conference only schedule where we played by far the hardest schedule in the nation all while having very little talent to work with.
Stop trolling man or at least stick to what you are good at with the Anderson shtick.

I just don’t see how finishing 3rd-4th in the Big 12 really amounts to that much more than finishing 9th-10th in the SEC. You don’t win anything either way. We’ve finished 2nd in the SEC before and while it was a good season we probably would have been in the exact same position behind OU or Texas those years in the Big 12 too.

I think it will be wonderful, Texas will ruin the SEC.
What’s the purpose of them joining with 5 auto conference bids on the 12 team play offs? They think they can get a bid in the SEC but not Big12?

Oh is this the part where we're supposed to say Bert wasn't that bad and wasn't the reason for the massive roster issues and prolonged stay in the gutter?
We have always been one competent coaching hire away from being competitive again. Problem is we didn't have a competent AD to make that happen. Luckily for us those times seem to be in the past.
But by all means, keep talking like we've always been the Kansas of the SEC despite the fact we've been to Atlanta more times than half of the conference.
