I think Jones looks alright for 3rd string. Anxious to see Starkel out there.

I know its just a spring game. But we look improved to me. We still need to work on hitting the deep ball. Maybe Starkel will get here in time to work on it and maybe some more of these young talented receivers will pick it up fast.

If we can get a QB who can throw the deep ball plus a receiver who can run a deep route and toss in a stud RB this offense will be sick.
These RBs are having a decent game. Imagine what a stud RB would do in this offense.

Yeah Stoney I did. A lot of three and outs early. But the positives... The ball was snapped to the QB and NOT over his head like it was over and over last year. Once we started to get into a rhythm we looked much better. We do NOT yet have a stud RB or all of the receivers coming in with this current class.
I'm just saying from my perspective we look a lot better. Slow start not withstanding.

The attendance was disappointing. But I think as we improve that will come back. Once Morris gets all the right pieces this offense is going to be hard to defend. He makes you defend the entire field. We badly need a vertical threat. Man with that and Boyd at full strength. I really feel like the program is in good hands. But its going to take a few breaks to get to 6 wins this year. The talent is young.
