How about on the lines

I would trade O lines with them right now.
I would also take their TE. He’s on the Mackey watch list and our TE 1 won’t go to class.

So basically their starters (if we consider the line as a group) are better at every position on offense except running back.

We know the players he got from Bert fricking suck then act surprised when he can't do much with them. Let the man recruit.

I'm not calling for Morris to be fired, but I can say with confidence that Bert and Enos would have won that game last night.

It would have been a replay of the Texas Tech game in 2014 and we would have run on every damn play in the second half until they quit.

Neither one of them good enough to stick with their original programs.

One was stuck behind one of the best QBs in college and the other was a 5-star just now getting his shite together.

Bielema probably would have had a play action bomb on that 4th and 1 like he did against MSU last year. They did some stupid stuff too, like taking the ball out of Brandon Allen’s hands to end up with a blocked FG to lose the game.

The QB was so good his best option for transfer was Colorado State. Same for the former 5* getting his shite together.

Don't try to gloss over the obvious truth that these guys are retreads with no NFL prospects... and we couldn't stop them even when we knew where the ball was going.

As much as it pains me to say this, I have to agree with you. Don't get me wrong, Bert coached some collapses that were master pieces. I think he would have won that game however.

CSU was like a boxer who is ready to go. They were out on their feet and just needed a little "help" to go down and stay down. We let them off the hook and as often happens knowing that they survived our best shots gave them enough energy to mount their comeback.

God help me... I miss HDN. Thank God this isn't the weekend or that realization would drive me to start drinking at 9 in the morning.

Haven't been on much lately... geez you people are amazing.
We fired BB for a reason.... we were TERRIBLE!!!!!!
It's showing..... Morris isn't a miracle worker....
Should we have lost that game.... NO... but I put a lot of that on the defense in the 4th qtr... yeah we didn't move the ball well in the 4th but you have got to either double #11 or bring more pressure than they can handle... we did NEITHER..... this after dominating them for 3 quarters is what coined the phrase "3rd and Chavis".... we got soft on D in the 4th. I didn't understand the punt on 4th and 1 when we were having our way with their d line but hey.... how bout we don't let them go 96 friggin yards to score and get momentum. It was the safe play at that point.... even though I felt like we would have converted it easily.
Obviously this staff doesn't trust a QB yet. Maybe it's time we see Hyatt or JSJ or Noland to see if they have the "it" factor... because Storey and Kelley do not.

But to call for Morris to be fired after two games is beyond stupid.

Sometimes I HATE our fanbase.

If we can't fire the useless a-hole can we at least make him cut the dead weight from the shitty staff he brought with him? I would think going 2-10 AT LEAST deserves that he has to replace those frickers.

Agreed. We need an actual ST coach. The NCAA allowed there to be one more assistant, but it seems we somehow continue to have to worst ST since Zach Hocker left. Why did Morris not designate anyone to specialize in ST? And how the frick did Connor Limpert earn a scholly?

Not a fricking chance in hell. How quickly we forget the big leads they squandered first, they started this shite, it’s now embedded in our players psyche. They would’ve lost this game like they always did, stop giving them credit. This is their fault.

The players believed in Enos, not sure about this staff

We aren't calling for him to be fired though. Oh some are, just as I am sure that when Alabama loses some of their fans call for Saban to step down. Arkansas fans are rightfully annoyed at the Chadster.

We had the game won and the coaching staff and players went into a shell and lost. People are going to be a mite bit perturbed over that. Particularly after the last several years of Bert Ball.

We pay our coaches to win these sorts of games. Not lose them. And we lost that one.

I do agree with you on the QB problem. Ty seems to "get" the offense... he just can't run it. Kelley has some great physical tools but looks lost out there. I do get why our coaching staff is loathe to trot a Freshman QB out there as a sacrificial goat.

That having been said, if Storey and Kelley continue to play at the level they are now we might have to bite the bullet and trot someone else out there. Otherwise we have to write the season off and wait till next year.

It’s just amazing how quickly we forget the sins of former coaches. Bielema would’ve gotten cute and thrown the ball all over the yard. Hell we might not have even been up 18 to begin with

I normally follow this logic and still do to a certain degree but 100% that loss was on the coaches. Normally when a coach fails in the first year you can point lack of talent among some other tings. It was very clear throughout the game which team was much more talented and it wasn't the winner.

He was actually headed to UCLA until CSU's QB tore his ACL and Bobo pretty much guaranteed him a starting spot. Mekale McKay washed out here and went to Cincinnati and ended up playing in the NFL. Like it or not, CSU has just as many WRs on NFL rosters as we do right now.

McClellion had damn near perfect coverage on some of those catches Williams made. Reminded me of some of the plays Jarvis Landry made against us.

Why do people act like Colorado State is some hole in the ground players go to die? They were ranked as recently as 2013 and finished 10-2 that year. Their QB was drafted in the 3rd round. They've made a bowl game every year since 2013. Are they worldbeaters this year? No, not at all. But the people eluding to the fact that there's no way Colorado State could have any talent on its roster at all just aren't learned enough about them.

All of this to say that Arkansas suffers from a serious talent deficiency at multiple critical positions. QB is obviously the most glaring and important one. Colorado State hands down has a better QB than we do. Most of the teams we play this year will. That matters a LOT in college football.

they also have the best WR of the two teams, and I am thinking maybe even coach...

We were better top to bottom than the team we played against. Let me ask you Drewbie, what was the most glaring issue in the game considering we were up 27-9 at one point?

QB, sure.. .sucks... but we were up that much
WR, sure... not as good... but we were up that much
O line... better
D line... better
TE... even, or better
Special teams... LOL< OK, they were better

Coaches?
