Yes, he fricked up big time and pussied out as a coach last night.
But anyone with any graymatter left in the brain at all would know that firing a coach just hired would kill this program, any recruiting, and no coach with a decent mind at all would even consider coming here.
and for those of you saying HDN... Cmon folks, put HDN in this conference today and we would be losing just as bad. The SEC is a fricking beast.
If Morris still sucks this bad or even if he is just a bit better in year 3.. find. Move on.
1. No coach would take the job if we showed such a short leash
2. recruiting is the life blood, we were already behind because of Bert and the new early signing period.
3. These are Berts players still.
4. Do you really thing that the PTB will put up with this for too long anyways, with the addition to the stadium and it being empty?

Our fanbase is actually insane. Wanting to fire a dude with half a recruiting class and 2 games. We know the players he got from Bert fricking suck then act surprised when he can't do much with them. Let the man recruit.

Preston Williams and Carta Samuels are better than any QB or WR that we have on our roster currently. That’s not even remotely debatable.

Cool so they have two good players. Who else on their team would start on our team? 1 player? 2 players? How about on the lines? Even the announcers were commenting on how much bigger we looked. Think our recruiting is bad? CSU fans would masturbate vigorously if they could jump into the top 60.

Fans aren't upset about what the players did last night, they're mad about the lack of coaching. On the 4th down call, the coaches should have had a play ready to go for that scenario with the players lined up as soon as it got marked short. Have they not practiced that? What happened to all that left lane hammer down bullshite?

No shite. You see teams do it all the time. Usually, they sneak the QB for three yards before the defense is even aligned. SIU did it successfully yesterday against Ole Miss on 4th and 1. Then again, SIU has real coaches.

If we can't fire the useless a-hole can we at least make him cut the dead weight from the shitty staff he brought with him? I would think going 2-10 AT LEAST deserves that he has to replace those frickers.
