Silverfield gets some bonus points from me for the in game experience comments.
First coach to ever listen to the people and look to fix it.

I genuinely believe this could potentially be our only win of the season. I pray I’m wrong and Silverfield shocks me, but I think he is in WAY over his head.

You think we lose to Tulsa?

Take the +40.5, we'll never cover that.
Lock of the week.

Based on what? I’m genuinely curious.

Pittman was way over his head and he did better than that idiot who thought himself as a genius.
Silverfied is going to do better than Pittman because he has been an assistant at multiple positions and more importantly had previous head coaching experience. He is also a better fundraiser which Pittman failed to do.

Here’s my hope:
Gotta respect Silverfield’s path. He paid his dues. He’s been position coach for multiple positions, but most notably OLine, which is key.
This is his big chance and I personally think he’s done a lot right. Details, intensity…both key thinks that we’re missing last year in our multiple one score losses.
It won’t happen instantly. We still have a talent deficit…but I think we surprise a few this year. Give him the $$ resources and he may pull off a turnaround.

Based on what? I’m genuinely curious.
The team he inherited from Norvell had played in 3 consecutive AAC title games and won in 2019. Over the next six seasons, Silverfield promptly finished in the bottom half of the conference three seasons. Two T-3s were his crowning achievement in his time there. And then there’s his abysmal record against quality teams. How does that experience transfer to SEC success?
I’ll be dialed in Saturday and excited. I pray I’m wrong. But I just don’t get it.

He might be full of gimmicks, but I like what he's doing off the field. I'm giving him a chance. Don't expect a huge win total this year, but I want obvious improvement and to be competitive. Going to set all expectations aside for the Georgia game.

I’m in the same boat but at the same time I’m not sure what “obvious improvement and being competitive” really looks like for me since we’re already competitive as can be in most games without winning them. Improved situational decision making I suppose would be good to see but losing a different way is still losing. Have to win a couple conference games for it to feel like progress IMO.

Geez go find a new team if it's that bad.... I'm sick if the negativity. Man hasn't coached a game for us yet.
Sorry your life sucks so bad bro... get you some Jesus and go get some sunshine bud. Let's see how this plays out.
