I dont follow recruiting but weren't Walsh and Black commits fairly late in the process? I guess that's the risk of taking in state guys early.

I don’t think Muss is that guy. By that I don’t mean he wouldn’t leave. I mean the guy doesn’t have it in him to mail in any competition. We’re getting his best and he’s just struggling to find answers with this squad.

This board is full of expert psychoanalysts. It can never be that we’re just struggling on the court. It’s always some scandalous underlying secret - Devo is jealous, Muss has quit trying. Someone will just throw some bullshite out and then it gets ran with as if it’s undeniable fact

I think Muss is a master at getting the most out of players that have some experience under their belts.
Getting the most out of a team built around one and dones is something he is going to have to figure out and get used to.

Bama’s mix with two great senior guards surrounded by young major talent is ideal. There aren’t many teams that win big with true freshman guards.

Another year like what? Making the tournament as an 8 seed? If we're complaining about that because our expectations were out of whack that's on us. Go back and listen to what muss says. This team started further behind than any team he's had. They probably have a higher ceiling too but he wasn't sure he would get them to the ceiling when this all started.

I'd rather get Kansas if Self is out. If we can beat Illinois who I know little about.
Purdue has Zach Edey, 7'4" center that is an absolute beast 22ppg 13rpg and hits hook shots from damn near the FT line. He would have 40/20 vs us.
