Stop and Score then Score again that’ll change the game.
Very possible if we stop dumbass plays/mistakes on offense and defense.

The offense should be power A gap runs, play action and deep action against a secondary that can’t consistently cover our WRs and Cuevas.

I think we’ve got the best WR corps in the country, just nickel and dime for 5-10 yards down the field with a deep route every 8-9 plays and we should score every possession.

At least that’s my NCAA 26 strategy…

Why was Forby lined up at guard?

That’s what the entire game plan should be: keep Pavia on the sidelines with long drives so he doesn’t get any rhythm.

We were generally able to do that on offense. The problem is that we couldn't score.

1st drive- 5:13 INT
2nd drive- 2:49 Missed FG
3rd drive- 7:24 TD

What is the definition of a defenseless player and why was James Smith called for targeting against a running back who was advancing the football last week?

Defenseless player is generally a WR in the act of making a catch, a QB making a throw or looking downfield, or a guy running to make a tackle with his head turned and the blocker is coming the opposite direction.

James Smith got called because he lowered his head and led with the crown.

Exactly. We have guys getting open. Their secondary just isn’t great. If we have to pass to win, so be it. Pick on their weakness

I think they’re just trying to find something he can do because he has experience. They may not trust younger guys.

Not the first time he’s lined up there. He’s done pretty well
Edit before all of the “he missed a block” folks start ranting. Yeah I know he missed that block. He’s done well there in the past

Formby wasn’t in on that final drive. Thank God

I hope he stays on the bench or figures it out.

Well he gets destroyed at times at tackle. Guard was suppose to be better due to slower opponents.

How he got beat there was really bad. I really hope he doesn't allow that to occur again today

Had to watch this game at a wedding last year and sneak watching on my phone, and now since ESPN insists on 4+ hour football games, I'm going to have to probably watch the 4th on my phone as well.

Hopefully 'Bama O wakes up and the defense gets a few decent stops in the third so I don't have to be that guy.

When Carrol comes in to play Formby moves to Guard, worked well in the Georgia game.

We were gashing them behind Dewberry and they adjusted.

Just like last week I expected to see PA and slants behind the box but I didn’t.

We got cute and the offense stalled.

I’m concerned coming out of the half. I hope Vandy sucks at adjustments.

Ty should have recognized it and adjusted.

He should have recognized that his RG was going to get absolutely whipped immediately after the ball was snapped?

The next 30 minutes are probably going to be very telling about the tenor and length of the DeBoer era at Alabama. As of right now, this looks like another example of his team not playing with consistency week to week. It’s harder in this era but DeBoer team highs and lows are too stark to be a longterm coach at a demanding program.
