Kemore Gamble, TE from Florida, into the portal. We recruited him pretty hard back in 2017.

Pretty good, fast pass catching tight end. 31 catches for 414 yards last year. Runs a 4.65. Could be one to keep an eye on to fill the Billingsley role.

Have we always, as a collective, been this obsessed about true freshman playing and contributing? I feel like this is relatively new. I guess the 2017 class just kind of reset expectations for some people?

My only thing with that is I want to see them get on the field in real time early and contribute because of what we saw happen with the running backs, receivers and OL (with injuries) at the end of the season. We need to know these guys can step in and make plays if needed. We might not have seen a couple of key WR drops in the championship game had these guys gotten on the field more. No way to know for sure though.

That is why those 3 walk-over games are good for the team even though the fans don't want to go to the games. You get a chance to get the new folks on the field hoping to see them compete on the big stage.

A-bitch about the schedule yet the team might be getting better

B-bitch about not being able to give the freshmen/backups minutes

c-just bitch anyway

One of my only complaints (besides end of half timeout/clock management) about the Saban era here is the way he handcuffs the backups on offense when they come into a blowout. The only exception was 2017, and by God, were we lucky that happened. I know he's trying to be respectful to the opponent, but I don't think letting backups run offense is disrespectful. Maybe if you still had your starters in there slinging it.

Let’s not list them but troll their sites and create speculation around all of their best players. Like they did with Boutte - make each player have to keep restating their commitment A start: Lots of Unknowns and Speculation for Alabama in 2022! Quarterback The 2021 Heisman Trophy award winner Bryce Young has not recommitted himself this week and many are questioning his intentions. We know he was frustrated with the loss. Running Back Possibly most disturbing are the ‘shifty eye’ tweets from the running back corp. Like any deep squad, the writing may be on the wall for Trey Sanders, Jase McClellan, Roydell Williams, and Camar Wheaton, as well as Georgia Tech transfer Jahmyr Gibbs, five-star Emmanuel Henderson and Jamarion Miller. None of these guys want to risk being buried in the depth chart. Wide Receiver It’s likely that John Metchie III and Slade Bolden will be entering the NFL draft. They’d be crazy not to. That leaves Ja’Corey Brooks, Traeshon Holden, Javon Baker, Agiye Hall, JoJo Earle, Christian Leary, and Thaiu Jones-Bell very unsettled, knowing that freshman Shazz Preston, Isaiah Bond, Kendrick Law, Aaron Anderson, and Kobe Prentice have all been told they will get meaningful playing time and possibly even starting roles. Look for a big shakeup here and their tweets have not been promising. This post was edited on 1/12 at 1:24 pm

Losing 10 of 11 to The King has ruined the LSU base. Add in the 5 and 5 as well as that 6-7 2021 season and they're really struggling.

Hell they are happier about UGA winning the NC than the UGA fans.

The writing is on the wall for Jahmyr Gibbs, who just tramsferred in, and Jamarion Miller, who hasn't even stepped foot on campus yet

Completely agree. I'm cool with going into run out the clock mode as soon as the opponent signals that they're not trying to score anymore, but how often does our opponent keep their starters in trying to score late cosmetic TDs? All the fricking time. If they're still trying to pull that crap, there's no reason not to let our backups run the normal offense as best they can.

If you put your backups in ,you have to let them run your regular offense. Otherwise why put them in? What’s the point ?
So they can get on TV for their Mommas and Papas?

I don't understand why Paul or Braxton would leave since neither are going to start for any teams. I don't believe either have already graduated either.
