It's wild to me that Grant has completely changed his shooting mechanics twice in less than a year, including once mid-season.

From about the 2 minute mark and around 3:40, Cliff is shooting a pretty consistent 3 ball. Of course it's uncontested, but it looks better than Grant and Sherrell during these warmups.

IU hires Devries from WVU as well

It's wild he left WVU so soon. I'm curious if his son takes a medical redshirt, and follows him to IU.

Cliff usually hits more 3s in warmups than Grant, Mo, and Sherrell (and sometimes Stevenson). He's got a nice stroke, that's why he's a decent FT shooter.

Problem is in the live practices I've seen where he attempted 3s, the drop off in percentage huge. Lots of bad bricks.

It's odd. He'll hit 50+% during warmups and 10% during live action. Nelson on the other hand will hit 30% during warmups and 30% during live action.

I've been pleasantly surprised with Cliff's FT shooting. He's at 70% which is at least 10% better than his career average.

I miss Rylan Griffen’s ability to hit a clutch 3.

I bet he misses being in the starting lineup also. He truly made a horrible decision.

Have any of y’all done any looking to find flights in case Alabama does the unthinkable and makes the final four again? Everything I’ve seen in a quick glance is ungodly expensive but maybe some of y’all have found potential good deals.

Per TNews, Bama has reached out to portal enrollees:

Jacari White, G, North Dakota State
The JUCO ruling that shook up NCAA eligibility has given White another year in college, and it looks like he might spend it in Tuscaloosa. Hailing from Orlando, the 6-foot-3 senior averaged over 17 points per game this season with a best 27 points against Butler in December.

Treysen Eaglestaff, G, North Dakota
Before the 6-foot-6 junior had a career-high 51 point game against South Dakota State in March, Eaglestaff rose to Alabama social media notoriety after he dropped 40 points nearly running the Crimson Tide out of ‘The Betty’ in a homecoming game for Nelson, who is from Devils Lake, ND.

Eaglestaff finished the year averaging 18.9 points per game.

If you want to go to San Antonio, check Austin airport prices. It’s not far at all. That’s what we did in the 90’s when we went. An hour?

How many open spots do we have next year?
