I really hope that they get Reid back for March Madness. Such a valuable piece.

We've really gotten fricked by injuries this season.

I think he showed he has the athleticism to play in the NBA, but hasn't shown enough to be a first round pick. He's just been too injured this year. I think he returns.

I think he will throw feelers out to see, but at the end he will return.

we need him bad in the tournament, but i get the feeling he wont be available.

In terms of the SECT, are we locked in as the 4 seed?

Would love a 2:30pm CT game on 3/14...gives me an excuse to head out of work early

I think Reid and Philon are both tossups for next year. Could easily see one or both going in the first round if they do well in workouts

Can definitely see Philon getting drafted but not Reid right now. He’s pretty raw offensively.

Yep. I like Reid a lot and hope he stays in school. He's an interesting player, seems like he can guard multiple positions, great athlete for his size, but not elite.

Most similar Alabama player I can think comp wise would be Gerald Wallace. Wallace was a cyborg athletically and had really good (not great) ball handling skills for the position. Had shortcomings shooting that hurt him and a coach in college that played him out of position. Wallace went 25th in the draft and that was 25 years ago. I like Reid a lot and am not knocking him, but if they were both coming up on the end of their freshman year again for the nba draft, I take Wallace every time.

Raw doesn’t matter to the NBA. Potential does. That’s why Primo was drafted in the top 12 and Clowney was a first round pick. Potential. And why Sears and Nelson won’t be drafted. They are already what they are. I hope both Reid and Philon are both back, but could easily see one or both being drafted.

Its funny, we are locked in at 3 or 4. But TN could finish 3rd or 7th. Crazy year.

For the 3rd time under Nate Oats Bama will finish the year with single digit losses. Bama had 10 or more losses in every season the previous 15 or so years.

If this is correct, it makes tomorrow's game essentially meaningless in terms of tournament byes.
Thus , I see us playing incredibly lackluster.

Nothing is 100% good or bad. The intense practices and extreme conditioning pay really good dividends, but one down side is that almost reckless speed and fatigue will always result in more injuries. I expect some who are in denial to jump all over this. Before you do so Google the relationship between fatigue and injuries.

I hope so but I think he leaves because of his potential. I think there’s a good chance he grades well for the draft and has a strong chance to be a lottery. I thought it was obvious he was the most athletic player on our team. And I thought he showed a high basketball iq. But I’m no insider. Just my opinion

That number seems pretty high. I don't think we'll win but I think we'll keep it close.
