That guy always has to have the most extreme opinion.

He gets paid specifically to write that garbage. I believe he's called for Saban to retire numerous times in the past decade.

Did you guys see the Joseph goodman article saying that Miller and Bradley should be kicked off the team?

That’s what gets clicks. I’m not defending Miller or anyone else, but the media loves these kind of stories. I don’t mean that they love that someone got killed, but they love that anything they share on the matter will get seen and shared a lot more than their standard, run-of-the-mill weekly article.

I hope Oats learn from this and puts in safeguards for the future. I remember being too busy in college to have free time like this and I wasn't a top athlete.

Oats better be careful bc he's slowly joining that category of J. Calhoun, Rick Pitino, and Tarkanian.

Yeah thats why I didn't link it. Al.com just tweeted this.

It wasn’t just that article..Gary Parrish, Clay Travis, Michael Decourcy…all calling for Miller’s suspension. Throw the libs like Wolken and Forde in. Maybe it blows over but the university is getting crucified right now.

Zero chance he'd say the same thing if it were one of his precious Vol players involved. Zero.

I read their articles didn't see any of them directly calling for Miller to be kicked off the team, maybe they implied he should be suspended some games or should have. (Not sure what clay travis said I have him blocked.)

Joseph Goodman directly said that Miller should be kicked off the team, and not just Miller but BRADLEY TOO somehow.

Goodman, along with the other media whores know that if you can get 1 of top players in the country off the team, championship aspirations are evaporated.

Are you joking? Even as a football player with class, practices and meetings in the fall you could find ways to be in trouble.

The outcry just shows how out of touch these guys are.

Is the Brandon miller thing as bad as it seems?

In my uneducated opinion (I'm actually a lawyer, and once upon a time I did a fair amount of criminal work), no.

He's very likely going to be named in the wrongful death suit because he's about to be worth a frick ton of money. It'll likely settle out of court and people will make way more of it than they should. However, based on everything I've caught up on over the last 45 minutes the worst thing he is guilty of from a criminal standpoint is exercising some very poor judgment when dealing with an upperclassman who should never have put him in that position to begin with.

Law enforcement grilled him for hours. They reviewed surveillance videos. They saw text messages. They saw the dashcam video from Miller's own vehicle. After all that they decided he's only a witness. If there was anything beyond mere coincidence to this sensationalist nonsense about him "blocking" the other vehicle, he'd be in jail. If there was anything to suggest he knew Miles - or anyone else - was going to use a firearm offensively, he'd be in jail. If he said anything dishonest to try to help Miles out of trouble, he'd be in jail. He's not in jail though. It's certainly an awful situation, but I don't think Miller did anything approaching a criminal act. He just foolishly believed his intoxicated friend was in trouble without asking questions. But really, put yourself in his shoes. What if you don't bring him the gun and he ends up getting shot? I put more blame on Miles for not just fricking leaving than Miller for mistakenly believing his friend may have been in danger.

very interesting seeing the media members who didn’t think it was worth tweeting about when it was a guy who scored 1.6 ppl who actually did get charged suddenly talking about it like oats should be fired as soon as the guy scoring 20 a game gets mentioned.

some actual cucks in chat from what i can tell. a few that don’t know it yet.

there are no colleges left who shouldn’t be embarrassed i guess.

I assume all these LSU fans that are so concerned with Miller were calling for Malik Nabers to be kicked off their team today after his weapons charge?

No? It’s just fans of rival schools hating on Bama because their teams aren’t as good as ours? Ah, ok, business as usual then.
