It seems like common sense would dictate you wonder why he wanted it at night out in public and whether it is a good idea to bring it (not to mention why did Brandon have it in the first place)? It's not a good look at all.
I agree it’s not a good look, but under the same circumstance, I probably would have brought my friend his gun. I mean it’s his gun, and I wouldn’t want to be carrying the thing around in my car.
Of course, I also can’t imagine any of my friends shooting someone in the street.

The Coaching Staff and the investigators already knew this plus there's suppose to be a dash cam video from B Millers car.

Couldn't Brandon Miller suit as well?

Everything is on VIDEO!! If Miller did something wrong he would be in Jail with Miles. But when they question. MILLER AND BRADLEY their stories lined up with what VIDEO EVIDENCE showed.
Also it’s ironic nobody on twitter wants Bradley suspended, just Miller….why? Because he is the best player in America

quote:Not sure what that would have accomplished. All the people criticizing the program now would have said "You mean you only suspended him two games for providing a MURDER WEAPON???"
With all that came out today, I am a little surprised Miller didn’t sit a game or two

That was clearly the intent with al.com's nonsensical headline.

Yeah I think most people are missing the point that this information has been known since the shooting happened, just released to the public now. Nothing new screams to me Miller should’ve been arrested or suspended but it’s still an incredibly bad look for him and the program.
If it wasn’t for his full cooperation this could’ve went down quite a bit differently but since he was honest and his story lined up with the investigators, I’d imagine he’ll be fine. Hopefully this doesn’t cause any further distractions for the rest of the year, would be a shame to have this ruin a great season.
I still don’t quite understand why the gun was in Miller’s car in the first place, the blocking of the cars seems to be a bit fishy as well but guess we’ll see what else comes to light.

Part of the testimony said that Miller dropped Miles and Davis off a club. Miller didn't want to go in because the line was too long.
So I would guess Miles left his gun in Miller's car knowing he couldn't take it into the club. And then texted Miller to come back for them once the shite started up.
Then Davis got the gun from Miller's car and started shooting.

I don’t understand why you would be this reckless and careless with a firearm.

Here is the new article that actually covers the entire hearing. Much better than the bits and pieces the various outlets have cobbled together.
quote:
However, Culpepper recounted additional witnesses who were present at the scene or had knowledge of the parties and circumstances involved.
Most notably among these were Alabama basketball players Brandon Miller and Jaden Bradley, both of whom had been at Club 1225 on The Strip following the Tide's blowout win over LSU just hours before the shooting.
Details presented showed that three people, including Harris, her boyfriend, and another female UA student — who also took the stand as a witness Tuesday — were in Harris' black Jeep at the time of the shooting.
Surveillance video evidence presented during the preliminary hearing alleged to show Davis, Miles and Bradley walking along the Strip, before stopping to exchange words with the occupants of the Jeep.
The defense claimed Davis and Harris' boyfriend engaged in a brief verbal altercation, before saying Bradley told investigators that Miles had attempted to calm Davis down. It was during this time, too, that Mary Turner — the defense attorney for Miles — said that Miles had claimed to have seen a gun passed from the front seat to the back seat and proceeded to urge Davis to leave the location.
Davis had reportedly asked Harris for her number, which prompted the altercation with her boyfriend.
Culpepper, however, retorted that the three occupants of the Jeep had just picked up something to eat from Quick Grill on the Strip, and speculated that what Miles claimed he saw could actually have been food being passed from the front of the Jeep to the back seat.
Still, it was in the moments after this brief interaction that text messages presented during the hearing showed Miles asking Miller, who was his ride that evening, to bring him his handgun.
"I need my joint," he texted Miller, using slang terminology to refer to the gun, before using additional coded language that the defense suggested was proof that Miles and others felt threatened after the verbal altercation. Later it was learned that once Miller had arrived to where the shooting took place on Grace Street, Miles told Davis where the gun was located.

It’s in the AL.com article that was quoted a couple pages back I believe, it stated Miller and Bradley both had their cars their blocking the entrance to the parking lot.
