Someone interviewed Jimmy Dykes about it and he said, "Devo Davis would never have done anything like that."

Seriously though, if we get him on the call Saturday, we better beat the hell out of Arkansas.

Some of it is a bit misleading. I don't fall for the okie doke

Brandon Miller might of displayed bad judgement but literally had no clue what was going down because if he did...Do anybody on here think he would put himself in the line of fire?

He has the biggest name in the situation so therefore they trying to put him in it like he was bringing the weapon to help his friends hurt somebody.

Nate Oats statement is getting blown out of proportion.

I think I could avoid any connections to the thug life for 9 months... especially if I'm a potential high draft pick that could make millions. I know everyone falls over backwards to excuse "athlete's" behaviors, but just being good with a ball doesn't insulate you from your ridiculously dumb decisions. I know we aren't recruiting MENSA candidates in any sport, but good grief.

They’ve been investigating this for a Month….if Miller did anything wrong he would be in jail with Miles.

Did he make an idiotic decision? Yes

Is he a criminal? No

That’s what pisses me off. By all accounts, the argument had de-escalated. Nobody was in danger. Rather than let it go, Miles decides to drag as many people in as he can and someone dies because of it

So, Miles says he needed his gun because someone was threatening them. That's all Brandon (apparently) knew. I mean, if my friend says, "these dudes are threatening us, will you bring my gun?" I probably would. If my friend says, "hey, we're about to murder some folks," I probably wouldn't.

18 year old guys/girls make dumb decisions. Most don’t end up with someone being shot because of it though.

That's FACTS!

And plus it's Miles anyway.

It should be so many upvotes on your post.

So the dude threatened Miles? If that's the case this is a whole different scenario.

So threatened that Miles stayed exactly where he was, texted a friend, and restarted the confrontation

bullshite excuse

According to Miles' defense attorney Mary Turner, Miles texted Miller at 1:38 a.m. the day of the shooting, saying "I need my joint [gunla
n****r rl jus got a fakin." "They're faking, which means they were threatened, right?." Turner asked Culpepper, referring to Miles' text. Culpepper indicated that he didn't know, to which Turner replied, "I
do. I looked it up. Urban Dictionary.

So it’s safe to say Miller knew Miles left his weapon in his car. What a dumbass if that’s the case. You don’t ever let someone leave their weapon in your car.

I don't think anyone is defending Miles.

A text reading “Someone just threatened me, I need my gun” doesn’t sound like a person needing protection. It sounds like someone who felt disrespected and was willing to get into a gunfight that night
