"He's got that low release, so it's going to be hard for him to get off guarded shots in the NBA against bigger, athletic defenders likd Devo Davis."

Motherfricker, Devo Davis is not going to sniff the NBA. Maybe since it was an Alabama game, that Arkansas wasn't actually involved in, you could maybe mention Herb Jones? You know, an actual NBA player who is actually an elite on ball defender? He's such a fricking hack. He despises Miller for no reason at all. I'm just sick of listening to his shite. It's the same nonsense every game. Dude got called out by a fricking fan on Twitter for flat out lying about our offensive rebounding just to criticize us and uses some coach speak from Oats to defend himself.

Not that we wanna test it, but I think 15-3 wins the conference outright. UT and A&M play eachother and I would be stunned if each didn’t pick up one more loss somewhere

No. 3/3 Alabama Defeats Florida 97-69 to Improve to 11-0 in SEC for First Time since 1955-56

The Crimson Tide’s 21-3 start is its best since the 1975-76 season

HEAD COACH NATE OATS POSTGAME COMMENTS
"That was the way we wanted to come out. I thought our starters did a great job starting the game. The first half was great. We played a lot more like we're accustomed to playing. (Florida's) a good team too. Look at their last two games, and they've been playing their best basketball right now. They are one of the teams that is going finish the top half of the league. Obviously, (Colin) Castleton had quite a game. We would have liked to have done a better job on him. He's a really good player. I did think we did a good job taking away their threes for the most part. They hit that late one, but in the first half they didn't have one. So, if you're going to double, they do have shooters and they take a decent amount of threes, and we don't want to give up a bunch of threes. That's the way to get upset. Our game plan was not to double them when Charles was in there. We probably needed to double a little more when Charles was in there. But you know, other than our defense on Castleton, I thought our effort tonight was pretty good.

IMO if you can’t be there in person and you’re not listening to Chris Stewart during the game you’re robbing yourself. He is informative, entertaining and oftentimes hilarious. The TV commentary to me is mind numbing.

As an example of how dominant Alabama can be at home, the 28-point win over Florida last night was just the Crimson Tide's fourth-best game rating of the year, earning a +28.2 score. Home wins over LSU (+66.4), Vandy (+54.7), and Kentucky (+36.1) all received higher scores.

Home victories over Liberty (+23.2) and Jacksonville State (+20.5) were the next best set of game efficiency ratings after the Florida game from last night. All in all, each of Alabama's six best-rated performances this season occurred in Tuscaloosa.

Haslam also has us ranked 357th in Consistency and our away from home numbers aren’t great either.

The next week could be huge in changing those numbers.

The away from home comparatives Haslem metrics are like the explosiveness advanced metrics in football. They play off how good you are at home. We're consistently savage at home, so comparatively being pretty good most of the time with 1 all time stinker mixed in makes us look like a "different road team". We're absolutely devastating at home (#1 Ovr, #2 off, #8 def). On the road we're not as good, but still very good.

However, if you look at Torvik and just look at adjusted efficiency in road/neutrals, we're #8 overall (#44 off, #6 def). Vs the Top 150 we are #6.

Does anyone know why Gurley didn't play last night?

Oats said matchups dictated the way they were gonna play and Gurley didn't fit it.

I'd guess they could have thrown him in later but had already told him he'd probably not play so let him rest.
