The AU fans really do think it's some mass conspiracy against them by the SEC and the refs to keep them out of the tournament, at least looking on twitter and reddit. Last night I know was frustrating for them because going on the road in the SEC isn't easy when the crew gets whistle happy, they generally favor the home team pretty favorably.

But trying to put the Tennessee game on the crew when they could only score 43 points is a laughably bad look. Alabama beat LSU by double digits despite LSU getting slightly more than double the FT attempts we got, sometimes you just have to step up in other ways.

Aggie shot 25 more FT's last night than Aub, damn.

I don’t like Pearl or Auburn but I agree with him here. There shouldn’t be that kind of discrepancy. It’s like when we played at Bud Walton a couple years ago. I understand the home team usually shoots more free throws but that’s ridiculous

Auburn has fouled driving teams all year. Last night was more than usual, but A&M shoots more free throws than anybody in the league and Auburn has one of the worst FT rate defenses in the country.

FT Rate Off : #4 - Texas A&M (45.0)

FT Rate Def : #311 - Auburn (38.1)

In conference play A&M is #2 in FT Rate and Auburn is #14 in FT Rate defenses.

We had these same issues last year. When one drive always draws fouls and the other one always fouls.....not exactly sure what the expectation is there.

Florida has been wildly improving as a team, jelled it together against Tenner and Kentucky (even though they lost)

Thats an incredible chart.

Takeaways:
1) Miller is so smooth and rarely forces his game so it masks his dominance. To be nearly 2x more impactful than the #5 player in the conference as a TF is incredible.
2) while Bama is clearly #1 to date and UT is a solid #2, A&M has sneakily put together a really solid team:

Bama: 1,2,3,4,6 (10,25) (avg starter: 3.2!!!)
UT: 5, 8, 13, 14, 16 (avg starter: 11.2)
A&M: 6,10,12,15,23 (24) (avg starter: 13.2)
3) Dom Welch is 25th in the SEC in +/- (W T F?!?)

Fun fact: Despite having the strongest bite force in nature, crocodilians have next to no muscle dedicated to opening their mouth

So Clowney could reasonably keep an alligator’s mouth shut if it wasn’t thrashing around too much

Any idea how Welch is on here but no Griffen, Burnett, or Gurley?

I’m having a hard time remembering any impact he’s had this year.

That’s the issue with +/- stats, could be on the floor and not doing much but still getting positive points from the players around you.

I’m assuming Welch made the list due to being on the court during a few big runs that inflated his numbers.
