I think Tennessee takes care of UL, but loses to Duke in the 2nd round. They’re still a solid team without Ziegler, though they’re prone to some ugly games so it could happen.

I'm going to have to stop myself from leaving too early. Will they sell beer at the games?

Dang. What a super classy dude. All props to Coach Stack.

Unless of corse Stute is transferring to a place that Stack will be moving to in the offseason.

Yes, just bring your patience. BJCC is notorious for long lines and slow service and apparently there was a major clustf**k at the soccer game at Progressive over the weekend.

I’m just gonna eat an edible.

And I will be there early to find a free parking spot on the street because I’m too cheap to pay $20 to park. Aiming for a 9-9:30 arrival.

So apparently Miller has an armed security guard escorting him around because he is receiving threats.

We got by far the best 4/5 draw with UVA/SDSU (and the best "upset" draw with Furman/Charleston because of how they play and would match up with us).

We have a really weird bracket. The 2-5 is by far the weakest of any region. But 6,7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 are all better teams than their seeding. Creighton, Furman, and Charleston especially.

Creighton, when healthy, is the second best team in this bracket. And they are healthy

Here is everything you need to know about the 10-0 run in college basketball.

In this article, I look at how the "Kill Shot" has affected every team in March Madness, and I also identify trends from previous Final Four teams. LINK

BIRMINGHAM — Alabama basketball has arrived in Birmingham for the NCAA Tournament. As part of that, Brandon Miller is being accompanied by a security guard.

Crimson Tide coach Nate Oats explained the decision behind that at a press conference Wednesday before No. 1 seed Alabama (29-5) faces No. 16 seed Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (24-10) on Thursday (1:45 p.m., CBS) at Legacy Arena.

"If you guys saw some of what I have seen sent his way, I think you would understand why that's the case," Oats said. "I don't want to get into all that. The entire situation as you know is a heartbreaking situation on all accounts. Some of the messages from people that can sit behind fake email addresses, who knows whether they're real or not, that I've seen is something that nobody would ever want their son ... I treat my players like my own sons. I don't have a son. I have three daughters, but I put myself in his parents' shoes."

Oats said the UA administration has seen the messages to Miller that Oats has seen.

"It's nothing that college kids should have to go through," Oats said. "I think if you were able to see what I've seen, you would understand why that's going on right now."

I can't decide what I think about Creighton. They are clearly a very solid team and definitely better than a #6, but they also lost at home to Villanova and got blown out by Xavier down the stretch (not to mention losing to wheels falling off Providence team). They play solid defense but part of it is that they just concede all missed shots (their offensive rebounding numbers are nonexistent) to get back on defense and stop transition. They don't turn anybody over and they don't draw fouls or shot free throws. They can shoot it, but man if they aren't making shots they are in deep shite - because they don't have anywhere else to turn (free throws, second chances).

And they really haven't beaten anybody. Arkansas and Texas Tech in Maui. Xavier at home. UConn at home when UConn was in a major funk. And that's literally their entire resume.

I think I'd probably say they are the #3 best team in the region behind us and Arizona, but I'd love to watch a Creighton/Arizona sweet 16 game. Would be highly entertaining.
