I’ll forever remember this team. Proud of everyone in the program and excited for next year. I could die rn and I’d be happy. We finally got to see Alabama in a Final 4 thanks to Nate Oats. I love him so much.

Hopefully I can enter the draft process and get drafted this year. But if all else fails, hopefully it's Alabama coming back."

Just had some fantastic street tacos to end a fun night. I thought the Tide acquitted themselves well against a really good Husky squad. That Nelson dunk over Clingan was legendary. If any UConn fan tries to sell the idea that they never doubted, I can unequivocally say they are full of shite. They were all feeling the momentum swing. Hats off to the UConn team for wrestling it back. A couple possessions in a row with missed threes were the story. Sad to see them pull away at the end and beat the spread, but we made them earn it. Proud of these guys, and they will always have the honor of being Baja’s first F4 team.

Sears - Mallette
Griffen - Wrightsell
Reid - Cunningham or Parker
Nelson - Walters or Mo. D
Sherrell - Transfer

Well said, K. I wasn’t disappointed at all…the guys fought hard and this type of end to the season turned the whole season around. Can’t wait to see that banner and hopefully at least 1 more hanging in a new arena soon!
P.S. I thought the Bama fans were significantly louder than the UConn fans tonight. Was proud of the fan base for showing up and showing out as well.

We were not a finished team, we were a rebuilding team. Many coaches and players were replaced. It was a season full of ups and downs, but we made it to the Final Four. I had fun and was moved during the tournament. I won't forget it.

Yes please! I honestly had no idea that he still had eligibility remaining.

If Nelson returns, there is a possibility that some of the Freshmen will enter the portal.

Interesting stat lines:
UConn only had one player outside of the starting 5 who scored (7 points)
Alabama only had one player outside of starting 5 who scored (6 points)
Donovan Clingan who it felt like was everywhere, just had 14 points and 5 rebounds... Grant Nelson had 19 points and 15 rebounds.
Gotta give Nelson credit. His draft stock had slipped a lot over the course of this year, but he probably got all of that back and then some with his performances over the past 2 weeks against elite competition. I still think at best he is late second round, but if he came back next year with this confidence under his belt, he could be pretty dominate.

I’m sorry but NIL has absolutely ruined college sports

Depending on Sears and Nelson's decisions, next season's roster composition may change significantly.
