Kill me if we have to play Samford. I don't want any part of that game

Before I get invested in these projections what is this guy's track record?

He's an analytics guy similar to KenPom or Torvik. He's pretty well respected.

Shouldn’t really get invested anyway aside from seedings and seeing who to root against in conference tournaments. Too many variables still

One of the brackets I saw had #4 Allbarn playing #13 Samford.

I'm glad this perception is out there. Hopefully this means we're the trendy round 1 upset pick, because those never seem to actually hit.

Aden Holloway is a bust. Most auburn fans are not happy with his play. They have totally different skillsets but give me Sam Walters all day.

I've always been perplexed as to why there are more than 5 players on the "first team" all SEC.
Somehow there are 8 this year, and 9 on the "Second team".

I think the team is technically 7. But if players tied they put them both in there, so ended up with more.

Wade Taylor being first team is laughable. He shoots 36% overall for the season.

I thought that was strange also. They should do five and two bench all sec. I’m half joking I guess.

He's averaging 18 ppg on 15.6 shots a game while Sears is averaging 21 ppg on 13.0 shots per game.

Sears is having one of the more efficient high scoring seasons in SEC history. I can't think of another small guard to average over 20 points and shoot over 50%.

Any chance we fall to the 5 line if we’re a quick SECT bounce against Florida?

I’m not so sure it matters in the long run. I just don’t want to play the Mormons in Salt Lake City in the 4/5 matchup. That place will one-sided from the kids selling popcorn to the refs.

In theory, most would shy away from Samford in the 4/13 game. I think we’d cruise by 15+. They’re somewhat similar style to ours would eventually give way to our overall athleticism. They’d have no answer for Sears to the cup.
