Think I'm going to wait to see if there's a better quality version. Sounds like they're in a wind tunnel and I can't hear shite

I linked it before driving off in my car. It was terrible. I had my phone to my ear trying to make it out.

About halfway through last season I could finally hear the media's question they were asking Saban for years. I hope they get that fixed

Always enjoyed fall camp because it meant getting a first look at not only how the current players have progressed in size/speed but also the newcomers.

rolltide.com had not updated the weights on existing players since 2023. I don't know if they plan to. So not necessarily everything is open.

Williams is smooth as hell. Physically if he can get off press he’s going to be trouble because we know he can run.

Rodney Orr just spoke on WJOX about practice. Had a lot to say.

- Ryan Williams drawing Devonta Smith comparisons (physically and in the smoothness of his play)
- Ty Simpson getting glowing reports for grasping the offense. Has beefed up to around 220 but hasn't seemed to slow him down.
- TF Zabien Brown could push for a starting role at CB. Mbakwe and Mincy also looking the part.
- Que Russaw could be a beast pass rusher. Bulked up to 260ish

I know it's just first practice observations, but we're all starved for football news this time of year.

Interested to see what kind of pass rush we get from the DL/IDL this year shifting to a 1-gap style defense. In his post-practice presser, Wommack mentioned that he expects the DL to get after the quarterback and not just eat up blocks.

I felt there was a discernible gap between Jalen and Ty at QB this spring, but the gap was not massive. I think the difference has to do with experience and Jalen has a gift with the long ball. I think Ty at least to this point has shown me more on intermediate passing which Jalen struggles more at. Bottom line I dont think we have a QB controversy, I think it's Jalens job. but if he were hurt I do believe we can win with Ty. I just would not want to see Ty's first start to be against an LSU or something.

Love to hear that about Russaw because we need some guys that can get pressure and with Anderson, Turner and Braswell gone from the last few years I was wondering if we had replacements.

Also love to hear about the freshman at corner. Hope they all get plenty of playing time so we have 3 studs for the next 2 years after this season.

Our team will be more disciplined all around from what I’m hearing.

Wommack does not allow BS to slide. Very similar to Saban and Kirby with the arse chewings we saw early in our Dynasty run.

There's a gap between them but it's the other way around.

There's not going to be a quarterback controversy because they are not going to allow it to be one.

Milroe is who they love and praise. I love the fact that he's a workhorse and a great leader. Those aspects matter for sure but his struggles are with his fundamentals such as reading defenses, accuracy, and footwork! If he's made huge strides in those areas then Alabama will probably be a Top 2 team at the end of the year.

This is a brand new offensive staff, they don't have allegiance to either QB in the same vein Saban did with returning starters. Anyone mocking Milroe as a lock to start with the lack of a starter being named is jumping the gun IMO

I wouldn't be shocked to see us do a tale of two halves against WKU and start both of them

This is a coach in year one inheriting a strong roster with heavy pressure, if they think one guy gives a better chance under their system then they're going to start them.

I know that this board doesn't want to hear it, but every time KDB talks about Milroe, it is very clear that he intends for him to be the starter.
