Kiffen was fired a head coach for non performance twice. He's mediocre.

We have a much better coach than Kiffin.

Caleb Downs and Isaiah Bond were in 6th grade when Kiffin left for FAU

What in the fiddlers frick does this have to do with Kiffin somehow magically keeping Downs and Bond

You claimed they both left just for the money. I was pointing out that isn’t true because they stay for Saban(maybe not Bonds)

And a much worse recruiter.

“You hired a shite head coach but no one will out recruit me.”

-Nick Saban.

If DeBoer doesn’t succeed at Bama it’s because we have SOFT arse fans.

ut I doubt we would have lost Sayin at least.

Sayin had the chance to play for Kiffin and Sark as well as others but he choose to play for Saban who is no longer here.

Downs probably would have leaned more to stay

Downs came here because of Saban. Any other coach at UA Downs would have signed with UGA out of HS.

maybe Bond as well

Bond chased the money and not surprised he went to Texas. But he was gone before DeBoer was hired so not sure how that was his fault.

but his ability to recruit the people there is appalling

Please explain. The recruits and players that are leaving he never recruited or had a relationship with. His first full season at UW he finished with a top 30 class I believe(27) compared to the previous year where he was hire 2 months lefts before signing day and they finished with a 80th ranked class. Pretty big jump for a school never known to be a recruiting powerhouse.

And I could care less how well anyone can recruit, because UA has been one of the top recruiting programs for years but yet we have lacked development.

UA top 5 classes over the last 4 years barely makes the playoffs and loses the first round. UW with a new HC just 2 years ago comes with a roster full of 3 and 4 stars mixed in with same level of transfers out of HS and were developed and lost in the NC game.

Imagine what this new staff may be able to do with this roster that is still greater than what he had at UW.

And Kiff recruited both of them to Ole Miss. the biggest thing for Downs would’ve been Kiffin hiring a staff full of Saban guys on defense.

I don’t know how to tell you this, but Lane Kiffin is not Nick Saban

Not a single guy has transferred to Ole Miss and Kiffin isn't Saban so no idea how you could conclude these guys would stay.

We would have lost more because Kiffin "screwed" the wrong people's wives who donate large amounts of MONEY. Then you would have been complaining about why Bama's NIL isn't up to par.

Can we not give this coach and his staff at least ONE year to see what happens? We are starting to resemble AU and Harsin's hiring. Let's be better than that.

If DeBoer can't make it work in 4 years and Kiffin hasn't flamed out again as a HC then maybe Alabama should consider it.

Kiffin will likely be at Florida when Napier is canned or LSU if Kelly goes to Michigan. Won't be as easy to pull him from either of them as from Ole Piss.

Kiffin is a child and he isn't a good head coach.

If you're willing to have a subpar head coach to MAYBE keep a couple extra players, you're not smart.

Can't believe I'm responding to the trolls.

Amos is going to Ole Miss. that’s not the point. Kiffin+Bama keeps these guys. However you are wrong and the transfers aren’t stopping anytime soon. Our coach doesn’t recruit. He told the assistants to contact all the players and he sent the parents a fricking email.

Why does not wanting to go back to the dark ages of Bama football make us trolls?
