And to think only two of them didn’t win a championship (not including Bryce since the season is still on going)

Still can’t believe a 3rd string QB beat us that year.

Coker was country tough/strong. Seent several linebackers have to readjust that chinstrap after ol Coker get ahold dat arse.

He would be more revered had he committed to Bama to begin with. That was that weird period where we let all the future in state QB draft picks go elsewhere while chasing dipshits like Gunner Kiel

I'll give JPW some props. Certainly not the most talented by any stretch of the imagination. But he ended up being a pretty damn good QB, and with one or two players here or there against Florida he'd have won a national championship. He was a badly needed leadership bridge getting from Shula to the 2009 national championship team.

He played fine. And stayed in the league for a few years, right? You don't do that if you're bad. I'd take him over McElroy.

He's a damn folk hero. He needs to be more present around the program. Tough as hell. And still has one of my favorite plays ever: that rollout/evading defenders pass to the endzone in the iron bowl to secure that game.

Blake Sims is nearly as much of a folk hero--dude just went ape shite crazy out of nowhere and re-wrote the record books (at the time). Would be higher if they brought home the title. Not his fault, but it is what it is.

He played a pretty flawless game in the game that started it all...2008 Clemson.

That too.

The 2008 JPW would have won national championships also with some of these recent teams.

Alphonse Shank Taylor straight decleated that poor aubie in that gif. Once he realized Jake was still on his feet he got busy looking for somebody to knock TF out.

That's the kind of edge this year ol lacked.

Yes, a rope to Ardarius Stewart in the back of the end zone.

I think, when all is said and done, Mac will be considered the greatest of them all.

I have followed him closely this year. I think he is going to be our next NFL HOF qb.

And I didn't even want the guy to start a couple of years ago. Tells you what I know.

We may have a better all around team one day, but we will never have a better offense than 2020. And the reason is Mac Jones and that super computer mind of his. The smartest, most accurate, most anticipatory qb we have ever had.

Watch him win a Superbowl this year.

My rankings of Saban QBs would be:
1. Mac
2. Bryce
3. Tua
4. AJ
5. Jalen
6. Coker
7. Blake Sims
8. JPW
9. McElroy

I think JPW probably could have been better if he had 2 years under Mc.

Coker turned into a perfect Tebow mold while channeling his Inner Joe Flacco on that run at the end of the year.

My favorite Memory/Moment from every QB..

JPW- Throw to Julio against Georgia or Drive to beat Arkansas in Sabans 1st year.

McElroy- SEC Championship against Florida, just a great game by him.

AJ- The 2 NCGs...especially the first against the Baws when everyone in the media was doubting him.

Blake- The Multiple clutch 3rd downs he converted with his legs throughout the season late in games against State and LSU

Coker- The throw down the sideline to Ardarius Stewart on a crucial 3rd Down against Clemson in the NCG. Truly no Idea how he made that throw.

Jalen- 2018 SEC Championship game. Redemption. Saban Almost Cried. Somebody should make a movie about that whole situation.

Tua- NCG against UGA

Mac- The whole season. Never seen a QB be so efficient. Was like watching a fricking Machine Play QB. IMO, the greatest season a College QB has ever played.

Bryce- (So Far) The Drive in the IB and Torching Georgia’s (GOAT ) defense

Don't know if the the clip is out there, but my fave was Coker absolutely trucking Deion Jones of LSU on a run near the goal line. Destroyed his arse.
