These nil cooperatives are legally suspect and possibly fraudulent. I can easily see how they could be used to launder money for one thing. There are many ways this could be attacked, but it's
This X100. Ideal vehicle to wash dirty money. It will probably take a few of these teenag...
I keep hearing these types of numbers thrown around but I’m skeptical, especially on unproven HS kids (yes I know Downs is proven). They’re handing 18-19 year olds $2MM to play college football? Is it a lump sum? Is it paid in monthly paychecks? Is it direct deposit from the NIL group or a bo...
This is what the players wanted. This is what the politcally correct clowns on twitter wanted. Everyone needed to bend over and cater to these poor, poor players...the sport may no longer exist in 25 years at this rate.
Right now the handlers are "uncles" "family friends". Now that...

Easy fellas. I learned a long time ago that are no bad ideas. Just ones tha cannot be implemented. At least He is not flame throwing a fit like others. ...

We may need Chris before this is over. ...
I have become friends over the last few years with some high school coaches in Louisiana that rent my condo in Perdido Key. They are telling me about some of the D1 prospect players "handlers" that are telling college coaches that "I don't want my guy playing against Weber State, Austin Peay, etc. b...
And you can bet your arse some of these things will end up as scams and the people running them lining their pockets and taking extravagant "donor meeting" trips. There is absolutely no control or monitoring of these things. I am sure the Yea Alabama site is legit, but it only takes one bad or despe...
Going to school is a farce now. Just rip the band aid off and let these guys get paid legitimately out of high school with a draft like baseball. The NFL has had a free farm system for too long anyways. Let these guys travel on buses to the games and watch sausage races at halftime in front of a few...

re: If Saban had waited a month

Personally I think he is as pissed as we are, and is hunkered down with a whiteboard in his new office figuring out a long game way of scamming this fricked up system. He was very clear he wasn't ready to walk away. Just couldn't do it at the level he wanted. This would be a new challenge. Its no...
Or maybe it didn’t even enter his thoughts, and he was like “I have given these people my all for 17 years, I’m going to the house and it’s not my problem anymore?”
Wouldn't care about having an office at the school if that was the case. Would have just split to Florida....

I think Coach Saban was a little naive thinking he could help keep the roster together after his announcement. I think this has been a big surprise to him. ...

You guys do realize that this is the type of thread that made Finebaum. Tell somebody not to watch or listen to something and see what happens. Yet, here I am posting in it like flies to the spider......

re: Kane is one hell of a coach

Kane is not afraid to make changes if things don't go well. Fired half the assistants after the bowl game. Kept Major Applewhite though. Jags season was a big disappointment from his pre-season expectation. This is a solid hire from an on field coaching standpoint. Only unknown is high level rec...
Actually he does have a point about his size. I doubt he is ready to block 200+ pound DBs on day 1.
He definitely got roughed up the first game of the year against the Tennessee DB signee. Needs to bulk up some, but he is elite as elite gets as a plug and play prospect. He will hav...

re: Kane is one hell of a coach

A little conflicted about this one. As a USA season ticket holder, we go to a number of games each year. Kane turned the program around and had them playing good against the much more talented teams. This past year smoked OKST as mentioned, but also had multiple inexplicable losses to inferior teams...
WTF is this Mickey Mouse shite?...
Does anybody really know how these deals work? Is the income reported and taxed? Cash payouts? I would really like to know. For instance, after Bond's catch, somebody shelled out a lot of money for tee shirts and other stuff. Now that he is gone, all that sunk cost is worthless. Somebody got le...
