I noticed after the block against UGA the rest of the game we actually almost had a few other close calls how slow the whole operation looked

Against OU we miraculously missed having another block and they came close a few other times.

The punter looks like he has no urgency or immediacy to get the ball out of there, the whole operation looks slow. It's definitely something to work on because having a punt blocked is usually enough to lose a competitive game.

If memory serves me correctly, wasnt it the same side of the LOS that allowed the UGA block and the OU almost block?

Our punter is extremely slow, but he makes up for it by having no distance or hangtime and being good for at least one shank every week.

In the SECCG, the block punt was partially due to LT Overton being out and is the person to adjust formations.

Hopefully Alex Asparuhov is healthy in 2026. Or find an Australian in the portal.
