Here we fricking go, guys.
THIS is a potential reality. This is our reality.
We have to go ahead and just understand and appreciate our current admin for now. We have no choice but to just support for now, and keep good pressure on.
Fill the God damn seats at BDS like we have for nearly a century. Always sell it out. And remember what Bama football truly is.
Something bigger than any coaches. It's us. Always has been about us.

He doesn’t meet any criteria, at all, Byrne laid out. So that’s egg on the ADs face if that happens and his time in Tuscaloosa would be short

I work in a different business but I commonly allow certain names to leak as being on the short list under consideration as a courtesy. Even, if they're not going to be the choice, it can boost their profile to be mentioned.

Cowherd is claiming in the last two hours that he has sources that the likely hire will be DeBoer.
More from Cowherd- Sark was the first call, but he is staying in Texas.
"Byrne No.1 now is DeBoer, and if asked my sources say he will say yes to the Alabama job."
"DeBoer is a better coach than Dan Lanning hands down."
"The hold up right now is Jimmy Sexton trying to push the price and years of the deal up."

Anyone saying Rees should not be trusted.

They added Rees for outrage bait. Norvell would be a disaster my god.
DeBoer is a bonafied proven winner, and honestly I'm a huge fan.

DeBoer hasn’t tweeted in 3 days. That’s become the new bat signal for coaches to communicate their intentions to their players. If you’re name is attached to a search, you get quiet to get a raise, and then you tweet you’re allegiance before the natives become too restless.

Rees hasn’t tweeted either and I heard that he’s in Tuscaloosa. Things that make you go hmm…..

Genuinely curious as to why some think Norvell would be a disaster. I don't understand what the knock is on him. Can someone explain?

I'm worried about transfers and momentum, not his ability long term.

It is the ole, he's in charge atm, so lets give him an interview. Or he left Notre Dame for a job at Bama and got the rug pulled out from under him so lets give him an interview.
TBH, I do not like any of them long term.

Rees right now is the care taker of the program, nothing more. If God forbid, Bama had been turned down by DeBoer, Sarkisian, Norvel, Ryans, etc I’d prefer Byrne interview other HC with good records like Chris Kliemann from K-State before we start interviewing OCs.
