re: The hypocrisy is mind blowing

They have been this way since Saban became the Head Coach at Alabama. They have been throwing a temper tantrum ever since.
The direction is gawd awful and I find myself losing more interest season after season. The reason I liked college football is because it was NOT the NFL. Now college is worse than the NFL IMO. NIL and the transfer rule have all but ruined the game for the fan. If you are a player, it is great and you can go to where you make the most money but IMO the game is biting the hand that feeds it. It seems as though fans are starting to turn away from the game...what will the PTB do when enough fans turn away and they start losing money? I find myself doing other things on Saturdays when I used to be glued to the tv from ESPN Game Day until the West Coast games played out. I watch my team now and only modestly keep up with the rest of the league now. It is slowly dying IMO.

There is no going back. College sports is collectively a multibillion dollar sports league and the athletes are professional.
The problem is not just NIL but obviously unrestricted free agency. That's why there is a debate about collective bargaining or anti-trust status or protections.
Until then everyone will adjust and accept that they may be rooting for a different roster every year. People have transfer QBs for a one and done deal just like they have done for basketball for many years.
Yeah, I get it. My point is that the fans are losing interest...at least in my opinion. I certainly don't have all the answers, but I don't have anywhere near the interest in the sport that I used to. I could spend an entire day watching games and be perfectly content, now I watch the Bama game and catch some of other games but by in large, I just don't care about it as much.

It isn't that nobody wants to talk about it, it's just that things change so quickly from day to day so no sense talking about it much until it is finished. Plus, the transfer portal just sucks and along with NIL, has pretty much ruined college football. Meanwhile, the NCAA sits back and does nothing as fans are caring less and less about what used to be the best sport to follow and watch. College football is biting the hand that feeds it and slowly fan support dwindles. Just my opinion of course.
As a Notre Dame fan, I thought you would have opted out of posting on a forum until next season.

It seems like we do better on offense when we go hurry up or play fast. Maybe the fast play doesn't allow Simpson to change the play all the time.

And what is that? Corndogs, rude obnoxious fans and ALABAMA envy?
No, no you didn't. The play before wasn't close. And...you didn't score on the next play either....but UGA did and they were screwed out of a TD.

Who cares what Sean McDonough says. It was a friggin fumble as far as the outcome is concerned. UGA got screwed by not getting the 99 yard return for a td. It's too close to call so you go with the call on the field. IMO, which means nothing, it was a fumble. The barn should have played the second half like the first half and they would have won. Bunch of cry baby little bitches.

LMFAO! That's rich coming from a barntard fan.
Well they certainly aren't a football school. :dunno:

Bama needed:
-Auburn ejections
-refs ignoring taunting and providing favorable calls
-overtime
-buzzer beaters
-Auburn shooting poorly at the FT
- a miracle performance from a man who has done litte all year
-injured Auburn
LMFAO typical barntard take.
-Maybe teach your thug players to, ya know, not do thug things if they want to stay in the game.
-let me get this straight, BAMA got favorable calls in your home arena? Sure, that sounds legit.
-buzzer beater...it makes the win soooo much sweeter, especially on senior day.
-Maybe the barn players should practice free throws during the week instead of thuggish behavior.
-But that jam was nice wasn't it? lol
-I guess BAMA was just lucky we didn't have any injuries.

For the UGA game, I was going to go into the Houndstooth and the cover was $40 and the guy checking ID's said it was getting ready to jump up to $60. We bailed and went elsewhere.

You have 3 or 4 DL out due to injury right now? That sounds made up.
