If you thought this was ever a possibility you haven't been paying attention the last 10 years. You can't preach process 365 and then send a message to your team that this game isn't important.

I wish Tua would sit, but Saban doesn't play that game.

No way Saban was going to sit Tua. Bama could play exclusively third stringers and handily beat The Citadel, but that's just not in Saban's DNA. You can't argue with the results.

Nick.........“recognize certain traits that seem to be in every champion: passion, commitment, confidence, pride in performance, high standards of excellence, relentlessness, perseverance, and the ability to perform in adverse circumstances.”

He probably looked energetic because his knee felt good

Lot of you gotta stop thinking as a fan, and start thinking as a player and coach. That was never gonna happen. I rather Tua to play this weekend, and work on few things.. He has been struggling the last two weeks.. and on top of that, this is perfect game where he can boost his number slightly for Heisman. We need to get our chemistry under control now that Brown is probably out this week and maybe next week. There is absolute no reason for ya'll to get mad that Tua is playing this week. It's just football. Let them play.

He isn't going to start Saban just needs that Vegas line to be high so the REC can replenish the ref slush fund.

He’ll probably play and should. I’d expect he’ll get his yards quickly and exit. That being said, maybe he doesn’t play. Why would you tell the next team up not to prepare for him?

So we are going to risk the most irreplaceable member of the team who is hurt just to prove a point? If he was healthy, ok, but he’s not. And we have much more important games rapidly approaching. If our 3rd string can’t beat the Citadel, maybe we aren’t as good as we think we are. And they would enjoy the playing time immensely.

If it’s a PCL as the rumor goes, it really isn’t that big a deal. I trust Tua and his family have this in hand. What more do you want?

I still don't understand how some posters think they know more than the medical staff and Saban.

If Tua is cleared to play and is wants to play, he is going to play. College is too short to take games off, and Saban has stated 100 times the injury will not get worse.

Honestly if you guys would stop and watch, not only has he told the truth every damn time. Tua moved better than he has since the Arkansas game last Saturday
