Sark is getting a HC job after this year. Who do you think CNS should go after for his replacement?

I wouldn't hate Hugh, but I don't see him leaving his current gig.

The only job I can see Sark leaving for in the foreseeable future is Texas.

I’m hoping because of Covid nobody fires their coach.

But I could see Sark at South Carolina

How many NFL coaches have already been fired?

NFL franchises aren’t universities suffering a 20% drop in enrollment and hemorrhaging of funds

I would be shocked to see any substantial shifts in coaching regimes this year. The only potential shifts I can see are universities where contracts are expiring. A university just isn’t going to dump 10-20M+ to fire guys like Helton or Malzahn, there’s no cash flow to support those decisions

I do not see Sark leaving to be a HC. Sark has the best gig in the game right now under Saban. He seems to have a great relationship and Saban seems to be hands of with offense. And no doubt UA will pay to keep him here.

which is funny considering that so many Alabama fans regretted Saban hiring the guy

If Sark leaves, Bryce will be in the back seat of his Prius.

Really? He’s been a HC before and you know he’s going to want to again. Same as Lane did. I don’t think he would leave for any job, but he’s going to get a lot of calls this offseason.

not necessarily. In fact, if Mac Jones keeps playing as well as he is playing now he'll be a first round NFL pick and Young will be the starting qb next year.

Would USC welcome back a Sarkisian that has seemingly gotten past his demons?...thats if they fire Helton

Unless he leaves for another stint in the NFL, I dont see many college jobs opening up that he'd leave to take.

Maybe Arizona if they dump Sumlin ?

UCLA if they move one from Chip Kelly ?

No chance USC hires him again after the lawsuits. I doubt he would even take that job.

I mean how long before Texas pulls the plug again

Boom may get an extension after upsetting AU. I dont see many schools ready to pull the trigger as funds are tight, like someone else mentioned. I think Sark is making 2.5 M. It would have to be a special place to pull him right now. Gus may be available should Sark leave. haha..I could not help myself.

Vandy may be the only SEC school to fire their HC this year.

I don’t even think it’s about the money. I just think at some point Sark will want to be a HC again. I mean Lane left for FAU. With his personal problems, Sark might not get the job he wants out of the gate. He may have to take a stepping stone job like Lane did. And he might not do it after this season, I think it’s a pretty safe bet we are going to be looking for a OC in the next year or two.
