Saban F’d up. You call timeout after the sack precisely to prevent them from attempting a Hail Mary. He’s so bad at clock management.

I'll side with Saban on this. Perhaps, it's just me. I'd defer to the team that has 5x more talent to stop 1 play rather than give an offense multiple plays. This ain't the NFL.

May just be me though.

Bad time management from Saban

Hard to understand how the GOAT is one of the worst clock managers of all time.

It was 4th down and 15 at midfield. They were not going to go for it an d risk give us the ball back there with 30 seconds left. You call a timeout - they punt. You do what he did and you give them another play.

Outside of the missed FG offensive series, very solid first half, esp with Bryce just a little off.

Shh.... don't tell anyone. They think if we run the ball 40 times a half and 0 passes it'll work.

Nah, only when it’s working every freaking play and there’s no reason to go away from it to something that doesn’t work because we have an OLine that can’t pass-block my granny with a walker.

Anyone have thoughts on Latham in relief of EE55?

Yeah I'm not a rundabawl type by any stretch of the imagination, but when they have shown no capacity for slowing it down, much less stopping it, why not keep running?

The reason it works every time is because we are balanced.

It's not a requirement to run 100% or even 85% of the time in this game.

Especially, when we've had a number of injuries at RB.

It would be much more egregious to not use a Heisman winning QB in a game to ensure we are balanced.

He’s looked fine. No noticeable drop off, if there even is one.

First half thoughts:

Bryce is a little shaky but still great
Defense is picking up right where they left off
Robinson is healthy
We will always have FG woes, no matter what, just accept it
Jojo probably won't get another chance at PR this year
Game changing timeout in the first quarter

This sort of reminds me of the playoff last year with ND how it's not an absolute blowout but you sort of know who's going to win

Yep, seemed like Pete used that to actually adjust then, instead of taking 3 series.

This will be a blowout win that feels totally sloppy. Then UM beats up on UGA, and we win big over UM.

Downvote away but anybody who thinks we shouldn’t pass more ( some deep shots) in order to make the O more effective overall….. I still love you but we will have to disagree CINCY has done run blitzes / fits they are doing now to slow our running game … 7 yard hook routes are not helping anything
