Who would you want starting for your team. Which one is the best leader?

Baker Mayfield without a doubt. There’s really no competition. I even like his leadership despite his volatility because he’s just such a great competitor.

No thanks on gayfer gayfield. His douchiness ok s too much to stomach. I'll take Jalen over Bryant since he is a slightly better passer and much more dynamic runner.

So you wouldn't take a Heisman QB because of some of his antics?

Nope, I just don't personally like the guy or his behavior. I know it's crazy but I would get no personal joy out of him being my teams qb.

Agreed. This board would be in total meltdown if a Bama QB ran down the sidelines while grabbing his junk screaming profanities at the other team.

AJ used to run down the middle of the field flailing about, and hitting himself in the head every time he threw a TD pass. I didn't hear too many complaints about it then.

The correct answer by the way is Mayfield. If Bama ever gets a first round talent at QB that can read defenses, and throw receivers open... It's hard to imagine the arse-whoopens.

Biggest failure of the Saban era has been the QB recruiting.

Mayfield is very talented. And he’s going to make a great qb some day. But he’s just not ready to start over Hurts.

Well what would you say it's been, funky ?

If any of Alec Morris, Bateman, Cornwell, or barnett are worth a shite then Bama wins a title last season.

The best in state quarterbacks have gone to other programs. (Winston)

One title was with a transfer.

Coach Saban has been amazing at everything else so what exactly has he done that would rank below the quarterback situation the past ten years ?

Under Saban Bama has been game manager U at the QB position.

That man honestly lost more NCs b/c of that position than any coach I can think of. QB is to Saban what the fg kicker was Bobby Bowden.

Jameis Winston's family prob. got paid to go to fsu.

Lol at anyone saying they wouldn’t want Baker as the QB at Alabama.

Kicker seems to be an issue here too
