Lmao. Why are Bama fans Jonny come late when it comes to this stuff. Hindsight is 20/20. I mentioned Stein when he was occupied at Oregon but no one would hear it. Vince kehres is the answer.

Stein doesn't have a true Midwestern pedigree, so why would we want him anyway?

Same people who wanted Beamer in 2024. Hiring a coach based on six games is definitely not an over reaction.

So we trade Kalen Deboer for Kalen Deboer?

Stein won two games in OT. Could have lost both of those easily.

This would go over real well.

"Fans, here's your answer to Kalen Deboer - Syracuse's DC who gave up 41 points to UCONN last year."

It’s fine. Just ignore them saying Lanning was the best thing since sliced bread and “toughness” defined.

Oh right we don’t talk about Lanning, or Sark, or Kiffin, or etc. since they don’t fit our narrative losing to lesser teams right now

Some of y’all need to step away from the daytime liquour

Reality is that outside of Kirby and possibly Cignetti, all these coaches are basically Kalen DeBoer. The days of elite coaches are kinda over with the NIL age of CFB. You can’t keep any depth in your roster now. You can’t really discipline players cause they can just be butthurt and decide to jump ship to another team. It’s turned into an unregulated NFL type scenario and it’s getting out of control. Not even Nick Saban would be able to tame it if he was still coaching.

Congratulations, you get it.

What happened Saturday was not acceptable but the people scratching and clawing to find a road map to recapture the 2010s not just on the field but at practice and in the locker room aren’t helping matters.

That would be dumb. We dominated them. All Alabama is missing right now is a consistent offensive coordinator who can actually call plays. If DeBoer can fix that, we are back in the drivers seat. It's literally follow the Seattle blueprint and fire Grubb.

This might be the best post I've seen on this board.

i'm of a different thought. i dont want deboer fired. i think he has what it takes to be a top tier sec hc. he has to hire top tier coordinators and a better strength coach and some better position coaches. then let these people eat!

No thanks. Hard no from me. DeBoer is still the best we can do for now. Just gotta let it ride.
