Stein has done a good job, but it’s hard to tell if it’s just a matter of teams overlooking an optimistic team or if Kentucky is legit. I think Tennessee will beat Kentucky. Florida and Missouri have the potential to as well. No one will take them lightly the rest of the season.

And Kirby is overrated. He hasn’t won a playoff game since 2022.. Without the refs, he would have 2 losses this year and be in danger of missing the playoffs altogether.

It might be 10 years before there is another undefeated team in college football. After all, even Saban had only 2 in his 17 years at Alabama.

Stein is going to be a very good coach. With Bama talent and resources he’d do great. He had freaking Kentucky looking like a playoff team while our coach has us looking subtarded.

We always want the Flavor of the month as long as it is not Kiffin it seems.
Laughable.

There is no one coaching now that some fans would be happy with.

Sark? Lanning? Kiffin? They've shite the bed this year.

Kirby? He hasn't won a playoff game in years.

Day? He had one good run, got beat in the first playoff game last year, hasn't won a Big10 title in years.

So who is it?

Not sure any of them matter until the sport itself gets fixed.

Someone who’s Southern so he “understands” the conference, runs the Power I and believes in running a tailback 35 times a game, someone who runs Jeremy Pruitt’s defense, someone who stomps around and snorts like Saban, Pruitt and Cochran and someone who treats football as a metaphor for life and a way to mold kids into men. That’s pretty much the ideal coach for that crowd.
