Pretty sure if Saban could change his entire offensive philosophy that Dabo could learn to work the portal. It's not rocket science.
The fact people are so negative about an alum with 2 NCs to his name is a little crazy. He could recruit to Clemson...he'd kill it at Bama. Yeah, the folksy stuff is eye rolling at times, but winning cures all.

I'll be 60 in a few weeks. Seems like just the other day me and my family were in Jacksonville watching that Alabama Florida State shite show. Time sure does fly boys.

A lot of the anger about Dabo is precisely because he beat Bama twice. He says stupid things sometimes, but of course Kiffin never ceases saying stupid things. The difference is that Kiffin never angered Bama fans because he dutifully got his arse kicked every time he played the Tide. His outright quitting on the team before the 2016 title seems to be forgotten by many in a way that 16-44 is not.

I think him saying recruiting first and X’s and o’s last says a lot about who it’ll be. It also eliminates average recruiters like Dabo and Harbaugh.
