Ummmm... it'll just mean the QB room isn't ready just yet. Simpson will have a chance to compete with others. Don't put anything out there.. and speak it into existence.

Maybe he will play his true position, safety, at his next school.

He was a cornerback in juco, too. The recruiting services listed his potential position as cornerback. He was a wide receiver in high school, don't know if he has ever played safety. Maybe he would be a better safety, who knows? He is taller than you usually see for a cornerback.

Mentioned on TI this morning that there is a lot of mutual interest between Bama and Grant Dubose. Wide receiver from UNC Charlotte. Last 2 years 126 catches 15 td’s. 6’3 200 4.55 forty. One nfl draft projection has him as a possible 2nd rounder.

Would be great to snag a productive TE in the portal.

That works but we will have to lose a couple from that room to make it happen most likely.

^^^^^^^^ Preachhhhhh.
The car wreck changed that young man’s life.
So Much Worse Than Most Know.
Wherever he ends up, if you don’t support him you aren’t a real Bama fan.

I’ll clap from my couch if I ever get to see him drafted into the NFL.

From the Tuscaloosa News portal tracker:
Offensive lineman Damieon George Jr.: The reserve offensive lineman only saw 20 snaps in 2022 for the Crimson Tide, per Pro Football Focus. He started in three games in 2021.

Christian Leary enters portal
Posted on 11/30/22 at 11:54 am to Woodyjr42
Leary having to crosstrain, if not exclusively practice, at RB in 2021 due to injury probably cost him some development at WR. Takes a team player to do that.
Hope he finds a spot best for him...

Hopefully with someone not on our schedule. I'm surprised he didn't get more looks this year, he had speed, and it seemed like he could catch the ball okay.

I’m not the best at comprehending what I’m seeing in a football game but he seemed like the most promising freshman receiver last year.
Even with Jojo getting more playing time, Leary seemed like he’d develop into a more dangerous and explosive weapon.

I agree. Leary looked to have more promise than Jojo in the few games he got in.

OL Tanner Boyles is in the portal. He is the backup heading into the 2023 season. And we saw this year we needed two good centers. Wow
