Hey Panthers, you gonna compile a list in the first post or what?

Not surprising about Leary and Holden. Neither really stepped up and made a name for themselves and then the young guys (Prentice, Law, Anderson) took PT from them and the talent we have coming in they probably saw the writing on the wall.

I thought Leary would be a star in our offense. Best of luck to him wherever he lands.

Mentioned on TI this morning that there is a lot of mutual interest between Bama and Grant Dubose. Wide receiver from UNC Charlotte. Last 2 years 126 catches 15 td’s. 6’3 200 4.55 forty. One nfl draft projection has him as a possible 2nd rounder.
Originally from Montgomery
Would be a good get.

Would be great to snag a productive TE in the portal.
Taylor Thompson (RE So) from UNC Charlotte has looked good imo in his first 3 seasons. Stats aren't that great this year due to being underutilized with the new OC that took over this year. He's from Prattville, AL.

My brother said that AU is going hard after him too. Dude has NFL size, and is probably fast enough. Guessing he had bad grades coming out of hs?

Holden had made some key catches at times. If I remember correctly, he had several important catches late in the Texas game. I agree that Prentice and Law had sort of overshadowed him as the year went on. I don't recall seeing much of Aaron Anderson this year so far, his injury set him back.

He's probably confusing Anderson for Bond. I don't think Anderson played at all, or at least non-garbage time.
Holden did have some key catches, but he had probably even more key drops. I have no ill-will towards Holden. I hope he puts it together and excels somewhere else.

I'll bet you're right about that. Bond probably played the most of the freshmen receivers. Yeah, Holden seemed like he gave good effort. He was close to Bryce, too, that may have something to do with Holden entering the portal (since Bryce probably won't even play in the bowl game).

Yes, I was thinking of Bond when I said Anderson, sorry for the confusion.

Also, not to bring the entire board down but maybe Leary and Holden found out some super-secret info that Bob will be back next season and said F this, I'm out.

That's too depressing to contemplate. I prefer to think it's just a combination of people seeking more playing time, and roster attrition to make room for incoming talent.

Even with Jojo getting more playing time, Leary seemed like he’d develop into a more dangerous and explosive weapon.
Take off the cimson glasses and you will see none of those little receivers are high twitch fiber guys. Some of them might have straight line speed but receiver recruiting has been a bust.

I heard on the radio this morning they are expecting after the CCG this weekend that next week there will be 2000+ names in the transfer portal.
