t rob is not an elite position coach, he's a decent one

But he's an elite recruiter and does extremely well recruiting kids in the South...something DeBoer's staff has little experience with.

In addition, he has great relationships with current players.

The main loss here isn't necessarily Xs and Os, it's retaining current players and continuing to recruit new elite (southern) players.

Because i dont roll over and conform like the masses ? My opinions on a message board full of silly opinions bother you ? Sounds like a you problem.

There is a reason Kirby Smart wanted TRob. There is a reason Nick Saban wanted TRob. It would have been wise to retain him somehow, but feel free to help youself to some more sunshine koolaid, its free.

It’s also a matter of keeping our current players and recruits.

This is the reason Kirby hired TRob. He thinks he can pull Downs and Ryan Williams with him. And he probably will.

Saban isn’t going to meddle unless asked. DeBoer is bringing his own staff.

This is my belief as well. I'm sure Saban will put him on the scent but I fully expect Saban will be hands off and let DeBoer do the hunting and run his own ship.

When Jox mentioned that Saban had cleaned out his office within 24hrs of retiring, that told me alot. Don't see Saban being involved with anything unless he's asked.

That implies there was a decision made to let him go. The new coach hasn't even given his press conference yet.

Is TR good? Apparently. Saban hired him, and now he's at UGA. He's a good recruiter. But, most of the staff always changes when there's a new head coach. This was always likely.

Being a good co-DC/position and being a good solo DC is are different animals. I’m not sure why people think that T Rob as a solo DC would have been a sure thing. If it was, I think someone would have already hired him into that role.

The defense was good this year, but T Rob was also on the staff when it was suspect in ‘22.

One thing I've noticed is that they (his coaching staff) can develop.

One thing a lot of people is missing is that...he can take 3 stars and four stars and win with them.

This isn't an even remotely intelligent comment.

Saban also hired Rees, and he not only hired BoB and Golding, but rehired them. No Bama fan with two brain cells to rub together would be happy if DeBoer had either of them on his staff.

It's wild that you don't understand how important TRob was in keeping guys on this roster and in recruiting.

Is it still no big deal if Downs transfers and Williams doesn't sign?

Sure, that's just two guys, but two really important pieces of this team going forward.

Youre projecting.

Thats something you learn about at a much higher level of education than your own, but you can still look it up for free, and try to understand it.

As for CNS bad hires in the end he all but just said he couldnt hire the coaches he wanted anymore because of his age.

Most of you are too stupid to waste time with.

If you dont like my opinions ignore them.
