He was so much better than Dykes tonight. Which is sad, dude is over 80 and been fighting cancer for years. Dykes is a fricking twat.

That Sears was the NPOTY version we were hoping for. Let’s keep it rolling against State.

Feels great to get back in the win column.

When they decide to play defense, they’re really good.. They just don’t always sell out on D

Sears is Back! So good to see him play like he can. When he is on we are tough to beat. Need Nelson back now. Sad to see him struggling.

Illinois may be the most schizo team in the nation, followed closely by Oregon

Mizzou predictably crashing back down to earth offensively.

Oh, and they have 12 FTA's with 7 minutes left in the game. They had 47 (that's forty-seven) against Bama.

The officiating in that game was next-level bad.

I agree they shot almost 20 more free throws than we did.

Who is the last coach we had that could actually run an inbounds play?? Oats can’t, Avery couldn’t, Gottfried couldn’t. I can’t remember if Grant could but his offense was so inept at everything else I can’t imagine inbounds plays were very good. Was it Wimp?? Jeez

Agreed great win to Stop the bleeding, pick up another couple wins in season then make a run in Match. Need to continue to work on defense and cut down on TOs

Nate Oats said he needs Mouhamed Dioubate to be more locked into the scouting report so that #Alabama can play him more.

I don't think many people agreed with my post the other day on Mo, but this is exactly what I was talking about during the Missouri game. It's one thing to get out-talented, but continually forcing a LH dude left is just a lack of focus and attention to detail.

Again, he has an argument as our most impactful player this season, and I think he's earned starting level minutes, but it was just weird that the call for him to start peaked when Mo just had his worst defensive performance of his career.

Side note: I don't think Oats gives a flying shite about the SEC Regular Season title. At this point I think he's prepared to sacrifice some regular season success to accomplish the one and only thing both he and Alabama doesn't have on the resume: a NCAAT Championship.

Yeah, I don't know who is down-voting this. Vitale was was a blue-blood knob-slobbing dufus full of childish catchphrases that he yelled at the top of his lungs back in his heyday. The only difference now is he's so old you can't understand what it is he's yelling.

I don't know, maybe some people are nostalgic for his clownishness.

I miss the days of Bill Walton talking about life as a commoner in Byzantium for 5 straight minutes while a team applied the full court press.
